Arranged on one level, with attention to the smallest details, the furniture and the garden. Composed of 3 double bedrooms (including two triples) and a small room with a sofa bed for one and a half (French bed), three bathrooms with shower, one of which is in the bedroom, spacious internal kitchen and also an external kitchen in the large veranda. Washing machine shared with other apartments. The house is very cool and ventilated, outdoor showers, parking space. The garden furnished with sunbeds and deck chairs and barbecue.
Large villa 150 meters from the beach. Large outdoor spaces with 2000 square meters of well-kept garden divided into two levels, the whole property is fenced so children can play in peace (to go to the sea just take a path). Ideal for those who love to spend their holidays in absolute tranquility and in contact with nature, near the archaeological site of Segesta, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, the Egadi Islands and Erice. Framed by greenery, an ideal place for those who love tranquility.
The use of air conditioning will be calculated on consumption with extra payment, 1kw=0.60€.
Visitor's tax will be paid at check in, 1 euro per person per day.

"The house was great - spacious, clean - the Vitale's are wonderful hosts - even though there was a language barrier between us their graciousness came through. Balestate was a good location for touring the west side of Sicily. I would recommend this accommodation."

A Month’s Stay

We loved the location of this property. It was an easy walk to the beach and to town. The home was fully stocked with all the necessities for a month’s stay. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for all of our guests. We would definitely stay at the property again. We did have an issue with ants, but we took care of that easily by purchasing some ant traps. Just in case of an emergency, I would get the owner’s phone number along with their son Walter’s number.

Only 3 bedrooms not 4!

We paid for 4 bedrooms but it turned out that there are only 3 bedrooms (an additional sofa is in the kitchen which is also an entrance so we had no air conditioning and privacy ). This is a house divided into 3 apartments, so the swimming pool (which is next to the parking) must be shared. There was information on the German website that the additional costs are for cleaning and pets, but when we came the owner said that we also have to pay for air conditioning. Some may also be disturbed by the cameras around the house (one facing the terrace). If you are a large group( we were 4 adults and 5 teenagers)the problem may be that you are allowed to do laundry only twice a week. Lots of ants! In one of the bathrooms there was so much mold in the shower that the owner replaced all the silicone on the first day. The barbecue is next to the parking so in order to grill, you have to repark the car. Positives: beach is close, there is a dishwasher, new kitchen, lots of equipments.

Right from the very beginning, the host proved to be hostile and surly, so much so that she refused to show the IDs for registration. After several requests, she showed them as if she had made us a favour. We pointed out that in the building there were more apartments and the washing machine was shared. To avoid any inconvenience, we had proposed to use the washing days with assigned days but she did not want to accept our proposal and kept using the washing machine creating inconvenience to other guests and leaving the laundry in the machine for hours after the washing machine had finished washing. We pointed out that, as disclosed in the website, the use of air conditioning was subject to an extra charge but she refused to pay anything. On top of that, the host was responsible for various damage to the property and never disclosed them. Moreover, the host parked as she deemed fit without respecting the assigned spot, impacting on the assigned spots of other guests. Ultimately, I would never rent my apartment to this person again.

Großzügig ausgestattetes Apartment für maximal 9 Personen. Jede Menge Platz auf der Terasse. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts Nur ein Nachbar scheint etwas ruhebedürftig zu sein und beschwerte sich, was bei dem Krawall aussenrum (Disko am Strand, Alarmanlage anderer Häuser, Partys) völlig fehl am Platz war. Sehr zu empfehlen

Schönes Appartement in toller Lage

Wir bewohnten im Oktober 2015 Appartement Laila. Originell, praktisch und komfortabel eingerichtet, mit Terrasse und eigenem Gartenbereich. Sehr gemütlich! Der schöne Strand, das Wäldchen und der Ort Balestrate sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Gelände ist sehr schön von altem Baumbestand umgeben und himmlisch ruhig. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett, freundlich, herzlich und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit. Es lohnen sich besonders Ausflüge nach dem nächstgelegenen Ort Castellammare del Golfo, über die schöne Küstenstraße SS187 schnell erreichbar, mit schöner Innenstadt und guten Restaurants im Hafen.

Einfach nur super!!

Wir waren die ersten 2 Wochen im Juni 2015 in der wunderbaren Wohnung Walter. Vom ersten Augenblick haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, unsere Vermieter halfen uns in allen Situationen (wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit unserem Mietwagen). Die Wohnung allein schon wegen der Dachterasse ein Traum, 110 qm mit Außenküche! Und da wir nur Sonnenschein hatten, haben wir nur draußen gekocht. Die Lage ist super, kurz durch den kleinen Pinienwald und schon ist man am Meer. Auch der Pool wurde durch uns immer wieder genutzt. Einen Leihwagen würden wir empfehlen, da man zum Besichtigen der Insel schon ein Fahrzeug braucht....auch zum Einkaufen... Kurzum.....vielen Dank an "tutti la famiglia"!! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

casa erika relax e divertimento

Siamo due coppie di ragazzi partiti dal Lago di Como che hanno soggiornato nell'appartamento Erika durante l'ultima settima di giugno. La prima cosa da dire è che le foto non rendono giustizia alla casa che è molto piu spaziosa di quanto sembra, ha una bella cucina e due camere ampie, una con balcone, il bagno ha tutte le comodità e soprattutto un ottimo box doccia che in una casa al mare è fondamentale. L'aria condizionata a nostro avviso non serve in quanto la casa è sempre ben ventilata. All'interno dell'abitazione è presente tutto quello che puo servire, i proprietari sono molto disponibili, ci hanno dato informazioni su come muoverci nella zona per vivere al meglio la vacanza. La casa è in una posizione strategica a 2 minuti dal mare che si raggiunge tramite un sentiero obreggiato. Troverete sia spiagge libere che attrezzate e chioschetti economici e ben forniti dove poter pranzare. Il centro del paese si raggiunge in 15 minuti, qui troverete moltissimi ristoranti, pizzerie e pasticcerie dove assaggiare l'ottima cucina siciliana. I proprietari ci hanno lasciato a disposzione delle biciclette da poter utilizzare per recarci in paese piu comodamente per fare la spesa. Riteniamo che questa sia stata una delle nostre migliori vacanze, ringraziamo i proprietari e la cortesia della gente del luogo che ci hanno ospitati con grande generosità. Speriamo di poterci tornare presto e consigliamo a tutti questa ottima sistemazione!

Ottima sistemazione

E' stata una splendida vacanza. La casa era perfetta, sia a livello di pulizia che di corrispondenza con la descrizione dell'annuncio. La piscina è fuori terra, e si puo' usare solo in certi giorni, e orari, ma noi abbiamo sempre cambiato luogo, quindi l'abbiamo usata solo un pomeriggio.

"Eravamo un gruppo di 11 persone e ci siamo stati benissimo ! La casa è molto bella e spaziosa. Il giardino molto curato e bellissimo. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e gentili. "A very big house is divi...

"A very big house is divided into several large apartments with separate entrances from different sides of the house, so the guests do not see each other. The apartments are richly furnished, kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery and appliances. Very nice is a wash basin and a hob outside. Washing machine in the same house is available several days a week as it's shared. among the guests. A nice wide sand beach is located about 150m from the house if counted directly, but you have to make a turn, so in reality on foot it's a bit more, about 250m. But this way you have to make in the green area, smth like natural park, with several fireplaces, benches and tables for a barbeque. The place is very quite, few neighbours are in the distance. There is a big terrace with some elements for children - a slide, a table and chairs. + a nice green lawn with palms and bushes. The hosts are very friendly and careful - come to help with the first notice of any inconvenience. And besides, Pietra is a great cooker! :)"

"We rented this Villa / House for one week in April, 2010. What a beautiful place and the owners were just wonderful. Friendly and helpful in so many ways. The house is very well furnished and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped if you prefer to cook but also great restaurants near by. All linens and towels are provided plus a washing machine. When we return to Sicily, we will definitely rent this place again. I recommend it highly."

"Bonne location, spacieuse, bien équipée, dotée d''une terrasse et d''un jardinet très agréables. Le RDC et le 1er étage sont loués également (à des occupants très calmes pendant notre séjour). La plage est tout près, mais la propreté en fin de saison laisse à désirer. Balestrate est idéalement placée pour visiter l''est de la Sicile jusqu''à Agrigente (1h30 de voiture). La propriétaire est très cordiale et a résolu rapidement les petits problèmes apparus. Bon séjour."

"Our family of 13 spent a perfect week in this 2-story villa, We walked to shops in the charming town (15 minutes) and to the sandy beach following a path through a park (10 minutes). Villa Walter and Villa Erika (same building) are clean, quiet, beautifully furnished with many rooms, 4 kitchens (2 indoor, 2 on patios), with charming garden. Owners are very accommodating and generous; local tour companies (SimSalaBim.it and Jumbo Viaggi) provide friendly driver and tour guide service to local sights, car rentals, airport transfers. Highest recommendation for a quiet sea-side holiday."

"Magnifique !! Une adresse précieuse ! Nous avons été très chaleureusement et généreusement accueillis par la famille V. Piera est adorable, enthousiaste et très souriante, son mari, d’une bonne discrétion, est d’une grande efficacité et leur fils, Walter, notre traducteur, parle toutes les langues et traduit tous nos échanges avec beaucoup de plaisirs et toujours le sourire aux lèvres. La bonne humeur et la joie règnent dans cette superbe villa ! Que de bonnes surprises. La villa est superbement bien équipée, rien ne manque. Elle est d’une propreté irréprochable ; Les literies sont de très bonne qualité et très propres ; Le jardin est magnifique ; La terrasse, très grande, est bien exposée (soleil le matin au petit déjeuner) ; La mer est très proche ; Elle est très calme et géographiquement bien située. Alles ist gepflegt und freundlich, die Räume tipptopp. Angrenzend befindet sich ein bewaldetes Erholungsgebiet mit zahlreichen, aus Stein gebauten Feuerstellen zum Bräteln.
