Trou aux Biches, Villa Aziza - 150m walk from beach - Luxury 3 double bedrooms

Villa Aziza is a large duplex with 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite, two which share bathrooms) in its own tranquil, private, secure gardens in the north west of Mauritius on the famous Trou-aux-Biches resort. It is also close (100m) to local super market, shops, restaurants and new Mont Choisy golf resort.

Situated on a quiet residential side-road which runs paralel to the coastal road. Trou aux Biches has many amenities and (we believe) is the best beach on the island with its fine white sand, amazing sun sets and safe gently sloping beach protected by a coral reef (great for snorkeling). Many of our clients choose do not leave the area, but if you want to explore further it is a short drive from Mont Choisy, the lively Grand Baie and Perebere areas with their many restaurants, bars, boutiques, local food stalls, bazaars and daily fish market where you can haggle for fresh fish. The villa is suitable for families, groups, divers (area has some of the best diving in Mauritius with over 80 official sites), golfers and even for a romantic break in paradise enjoying the gastronomic experience of the excellent coastal restaurants. Includes fully equipped lounge, kitchen and utility room. Maid service can be provided at additional cost. Car hire can also be organised at reasonable rates.

Golf: Villa is located on NW side of the Island and is 10 minutes drive from the new Mont Choisy golf resort and 45 minutes from the famous Belle Mare Plage and Il Aux Cerf courses on the east coast.

Local 5 star hotels and Spars: Locally on and off the beach there are a number of stunning hotels which tourists can enter and use the facilities of. Including sports facilities, swimming pool, restaurants, even entertainment and spars. Some may charge a small entrance fee.

There is the 'Le Plage' private beach club, if you walk 5 minutes up the beach, which you can use for a reasonable fee, with sunbeds, bar/restaurant and water sports.

Certainly worth enjoying the Trou Aux Biches Hotels facilities just a 10 minutes walk down the beach and the Palmiste Hotel, 500m walk from the Villa, which offers perfect setting of 3 pools and restaurant for children to use.

There are many restaurants catering for all price ranges and tastes within walking distance and offer take away services for those relaxing nights in.

Or just enjoy the sunset each evening on the beach.

Trou aux biches - Aziza

Maison spacieuse et agréable à vivre. Bon emplacement, proche d'une belle plage accessible à pieds ainsi que du petit supermarché Popo, bien achalandé. Bus proches et fréquents. Petit jardin soigné et peuplé de nombreux oiseaux. Excellent séjour. A mentionner : adresse mal renseignée et coordonnées du point de contact pour notre réception communiqués après coup par le propriétaire ce qui a généré un peu de stress à l'arrivée (crainte d'une fausse annonce). Merci à Hafez et Sharif, les contacts chaleureux délégués par le propriétaire et à Radika la femme de ménage.

Belle villa très bien placee

Très bon Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires dans cette villa très spacieuse, très agréable, bien meublée, avec même le nécessaire pour enfants( lit, jouets etc...).Supermarché bien achalandé très proche. La plage, la mer et ses pêcheurs sont aussi à deux pas de la et malgré tout le lieu de résidence est très calme. Seul petit inconvénient.... les moustiques présents partout et à toute heure. En résumé très belle location que je recommande sans hésitation.

6 weeks in paradise

We stayed 6 weeks in Villa Aziza combining work and holiday, and we enjoyed every day. The villa is spacious and well maintained with plenty of outdoor space as well. Information and questions before arrival was precisely and generously provided by Kahl and Issy, and during our stay the care keeper mr Sariff helped us with any practical issues in a very friendly way. The location is great, even if it’s a block away from the beach there are plenty of restaurants, ATM, post office and a supermarket within walking distance. And the beach and the local coral reef is , after checking out many around the island, one of the best. Nice mix of tourists and locals, fully accessible and not to crowded. We definitely recommend a stay in Trou aux Biches and in Villa Aziza to any kind of traveler!

The perfect holiday

We have stayed at the Villa Aziza for four times so far and have just booked the fifth for Autumn '15. The place is perfect, save and there is not a better beach on the planet. We are so happy with the place that we are not even thinking about going anywhere else for our holidays, the children love it, Faiza (the maid) is fantastic and there is nothing but positive to say about the villa, the owners and anything else related with our stays at Villa Aziza.

Villa Aziza

We spent two weeks at Villa Aziza for our Christmas holidays. The place is clean, spacious and well-maintained. There are three big bedrooms, two of them with a double bed and one with two single ones and a cot, three spacious bathroom, a laundry room. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to cook their own meals. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby and Popo’s supermarket is only five minutes walk from the house. The villa is very peaceful and safe, the perfect place to rest and relax. The beach of Trou aux Biches is wonderful , one of the most beautiful we saw and very close indeed. The owner gave us a lot of information before leaving and answered all our questions. The couple living next door were really kind and helpful whenever we had a question or a problem . Also the lady who came for the cleaning was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay there. It’s surely a place to recommend. Daniela Republic of San Marino(Italy)

Impressed!Beautiful, immaculate and great location

This place was a godsend. It's a stones throw from what seems to be one of the best, most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, there's a fantastically well stocked supermarket only a few minutes walk away and the villa itself is stunning, spacious and immaculately presented - like a home from home. It is well equipped which is important with a young family and very peaceful (i.e. no main roads or anything) and super-secure which was important with 2 young kids. Once they were in the grounds of the villa, there was no way they were getting out without us, so they could run around outside freely without us worrying. We had a fantastic holiday - the owners have left lots of information in the villa to ensure you get the most out of your stay and there are lots of nice eateries and restaurants within walking distance. You can even pay a small fee to get into the stunning Trou Aux Biches resort up the road if you fancy a day by the pool/pool bar for a change of scene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thought it was worth every penny and would highly recommend it. If you go, you have to try the samosa's and chapatis that the little guy on the beach sells - he goes every day with his bike and his wife cooks it all - they are amazing!

A fantastic family holiday destination

A spacious, immaculate, comfortable and well equipped holiday villa, ideal for families with small children, teenagers or indeed the whole family - there's certainly enough space. We couldn't have asked for a more ideal location, a stones throw to the beautiful beach, different places to eat and drink and a supermarket, giving you all the options, which is most welcomed with little ones in tow. Villa Aziza is a gem in the Trou aux Biches and if you are looking for self-catering, this is the perfect alternative to a luxury hotel. So many facilities on your doorstep and a great base for 10 days in the Mauritian sunshine. We had a fabulous time!

Maison conforme au descriptif, très propre et proche d'une très belle plage. Faiza est adorable, efficace, accueillante. Elle a gardé un soir nos enfants en toute confiance. Les mauriciens sont accueillants, gentilles, et chaleureux. Néanmoins, je suis déçue par le comportement de la propriétaire qui habite à Londres qui s'est déduit ses frais bancaire sur ma caution.C'est honteux (nous avons eu des frais bancaires à l'envoi du virement et à la réception de la caution que je n'ai pas déduit du prix de la location...). Concernant le ménage, à ce tarif , une prestations supplémentaire serait la bienvenue. C'est pourquoi, nous retournerons, avec plaisir, à Maurice, mais dans une autre location.

Wonderful holidays

The place was clean, spacious and well-maintained. There are three big bedrooms, two of them with a double bed and one with 2 single ones and a cot, three spacious bathroom, a laundry room. People with small children will find a baby-seat, a stroller, a pop-up tent for the sun and some toys very useful. The owner, although he wasn't there, was very helpful and replied to my (many) questions before we went there. The beach is wonderful, the most beautiful one we visited during our stay and only a couple of minutes away. Snorkeling is wonderful, if you go near the reef. We even saw some sea turtles swimming with us! We went there when winter was ending so there were n t many tourists and the weather was generally good. There s a lovely couple living next door, very discreet and eager to help whenever we needed them to. And the cleaning lady is also very sweet. There s a super market very near the house, two italian restaurants and Gran Baie is very near for someone who would like some excitement. Food is very cheap. I have but good words to say about Mauritius and its people. We would definitely like to visit again!

Everything we hoped for!

Perfect place to stay for families with kids. The villa itself is spacious, perfectly clean, of high standard and very close to the beach. 3 bathrooms are perhaps a bit more than we needed :) We hired a car for almost our entire stay (1 month) and traveled all around the island. Of all the public beaches we visited, we think that Trou Aux Biches is the best! The atmosphere is nice and quiet and there are some very decent restaurants. The best food by far was prepared by the maid Faiza, though, she will bring the food to the villa.

relaxing holiday

we spent a wonderful time in this beautiful and clean house. Our 4 year old daughter enjoyed having many toys and DVDs for children and most of all the lovely ocean only 100 meters away. The maid, the manager of the villa and his wife are very friendly and helpful. We will come back again.

A wonderderful place

We were able to spend one week in this spacious, very clean, beautiful and quiet place. For us and my little daughter it has been the perfect place to spend a relaxed and very enjoyable holiday. We appreciated the fact that bus station, supermarket and beach are very close to the villa. Everything organized by the owner like the very reliable driver who did the pick up and delivery service for us at the airport and the lovely lady who came for cleaning was perfect. So we really enjoyed this holiday in Trou-aux-Biches and will definetely come back.
