Le Chataignier, Gîtes de Peyrounou. Holidays, fait à la main

Located on the outskirts of Lacapelle Biron, a lively village with shops and bars, in the north east corner of the Lot et Garonne, not even a stone's throw away from The Dordogne and The Lot. Gites de Peyrounou offers three very spacious holiday homes in landscaped gardens with shared 12m x 6m pool. For four, six or eight people, each gite has its own character and is fully equipped for today's demanding tourist;

Le Châtaignier offers 1 double bedroom,1 twin bedded room and 1 bedroom with bunkbeds, 1 shower room and two W.C.s, kitchen/dining area and open plan lounge. The ground floor is comprised of the master bedroom with double bed, shower room, separate W.C. and of course the kitchen/dining area and lounge.

A twin bedded room and a bedroom with bunkbeds are to be found on the first floor along with the second toilet.

The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and all cutlery, crockery, saucepans and BBQ tools as needed for your stay. The front terrace is furnished with large dining table and chairs, gas barbecue and comfy seating area with low tables. The lounge has french satelite TV with a DVD player, a small CD player is also available.

An assortement of games and books is available from our library in the tobacco barn, table tennis in the front garden and golf or foot golf in the park behind the gites. Free wifi is also included.

Things to do include a wealth of chateaux and markets to visit, the vineyards of Cahors and Bergerac, canoeing on the Dordogne river, Europes largest freshwater aquarium at Le Bugue, Walabi world water park near Agen and closer to home, P'arc en Ciel with their accrobranche in the trees
