Great cottage, great location.
The house was very clean and had everything you could need, very well equipped. Great family bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs, one slightly larger than the other. Both had same size beds (a little small if you are a couple used to a King), comfortable and nice linens. A great location, close to Canterbury and surrounding villages. Great place to stay. Thank you James

Immaculate and well situated
My wife and I plus our two pups stayed for a week while visiting the local area. We travel extensively and this was perhaps our 40th rental house that we stayed in over the pas 4 years. I have to say that it was in the top 3 as far as cleanliness! The place was spotless. Not even any dust on top of the door frames. (no I dont normally check for that but this place was so clean I went looking for some dust) A Great location with off street parking. Quiet and close to both the Chunnel (I went to Calais one day) as well as Canterbury and other sites further afield. A bonus each night was the large Pheasant that came each day right around dusk and strutted his stuff around the yard for a while. We loved our stay and was sorry to leave. It felt like home. When we are back in the area, we would not hesitate to stay again.

Great Find
This was a lovely property. Loved the big communal space to hang out with friends and family. Great location to visit the local sites and a nice pub down the road. Would love to come back and stay again!

Lovely family friendly cottage
We had a lovely stay here at the walnut tree cottage. The clean spacious cottage was so nice for our family of 6, but the real treat is the beautiful yard with plenty of room for kids to play in the afternoon or for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.

Hi, I'm James and this is my wife Ayako. We have two kids aged 12 and 14. I was born in Kent, grew up in London, worked in Japan for over 20 years and moved back to the UK in 2012. I've sailed a lot over the years but recently do mostly long walks around the UK and around Bridge. We enjoy camping and staying in other people's holiday lets in the UK and France. I used to spend 14 hours a day in a suit but now I'm either digging, planting or painting a wall !
