Villa Stenkulla
Here you can gather your family, relatives and friends in an authentic seaside mansion from the turn of the century. You will always have contact with the sea. The jetty offers privacy and relaxation. The large property allows you to always find a place in the sun or shade, yoga in the sunrise on the jetty or balcony, breakfast on the kitchen veranda or balcony, lunch at the front of the house in the wind protected courtyard, drinks on the porch, dinner at the jetty or the veranda - You choose yourself but there will be many pinches in your arm.
Large private seaside property of 4.000 sqm with stunning sea views and sun all day long. Private jetty with sailboat depth, sauna with sea view in three directions, as well as deck chairs and a large dining table. There are two buoys.
Old house from 1909 with highly preserved turn of the century charm. Featured in the interior magazine Sköna Hem No. 7, 2019. The main building has a master bedroom with a double bed, sink, toilet and shower. Private balcony with magnificent sea view. Perfect for breakfast, drinks or reading in a wind protected area. Upstairs there is another bedroom with a bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a sink. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with a stove, microwave, and a large fridge with freezer. Dining area for 6 people. Sea view from the sink. Small kitchen porch where you can sit two persons with sea view in two directions. Large indoor veranda with breathtaking sea view and sunset. Perfect for all meals, puzzles or card games. You can seat 12 people on the veranda. Large combined dining room and living room with TV. Toilet with shower on the ground floor. Air heat pumps on the upper and lower floors for AC on hot days. Wifi and Apple TV.
The guest house 'Sussa' has two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk bed and sink. The guest house 'Siesta' has two bedrooms with two beds in each room, a toilet and a sink.
Gas barbecue. Flagpole and signal flags. Outdoor furniture for 14-16 pers and the opportunity to host larger summer luncheons in the courtyard.

Villa Stenkulla is easily accessible by commuter boats that operate the island 10 times a day in each direction. It takes 10 min to Vaxholm and 1 hour to central Stockholm. There are also boat taxi companies in Vaxholm. Car parking on the mainland is available.
Vaxholm, the capital of the archipelago, has a lot of history, not least with the fortress of Vaxholm, as well as picturesque buildings, alleys and shops. In Vaxholm there are 20 restaurants, a pharmacy, food stores, cafés, a fish shop, a liquor shop, bakeries, a chocolate manufacturer, a cinema, ATM and lots of ice cream outlets! Within 20 minutes by private or taxi boat there are another 10 restaurants with sea views. From Vaxholm you can easily take a commuter boat out in the archipelago. From Arlanda airport it takes 45 min.
The island of Stegesund is classified as a cultural heritage site because of all the villas from the turn of the century and Villa Stenkulla is rated as extraordinary. On the car-free island there is a small road that is perfect for walking or jogging. There is a tennis court with a wooden floor! In Vaxholm there are golf courses, horse back riding, bike rental, canoe rental and more. Catch & Relax offers guided fishing trips from the island.

Villa Stenkulla has been in the Johan Nordquist family's ownership since 2002 and has gradually been upgraded and renovated to the current standard. This is where the family celebrates Easter, Midsummer, Birthdays. Countless summer luncheons have been hosted with friends and relatives. Johan is an entrepreneur, married with six children and lives in central Stockholm.
