On Quiet Sail Bay; 2 bed/ 2 bath vacation rental townhouse in San Diego, California. Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. Ideal location for family vacations.

Just steps away from the sand, we offer this beautiful, bright and spacious family-friendly 2 bedroom/2 bath townhouse. This newly furnished, upscale townhouse is located in a small quiet 3-unit complex, just across the street from a public access alley to the beautiful beach of Sail Bay. Follow the boardwalk/bike path for 5 minutes on foot to Fanuel Park, a popular bay-front young children's playground, or continue for another 5 minutes to the ocean.

This contemporary townhouse has a wonderful ambiance and layout. It is bright and feels very spacious with its high ceilings, skylights and floor to ceiling windows, modern décor, and open floor plan. The unit was recently upgraded with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. It is tastefully decorated and contains many luxury features, including a fully equipped kitchen with a large assortment of quality kitchenware so you can cook and bake just as you do at home. Your children or friends can use the breakfast bar while you prepare meals, or you can enjoy a sit down meal at the dining table which seats 8. At the end of the day you can relax and enjoy a cozy sit down with friends in front of the fireplace or watch the sunset over the bay from the patio. You can also watch a movie or your favorite TV show from the premium movie channels, or use the Netflix enabled TV if you have an account.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, an HD 42" flat screen TV, and a full en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features 3 custom built twin beds, one in a bunk bed configurations so you will have a variety of sleeping arrangements. The upstairs bedroom has an HD 32" flat-screen TV and DVD combination player, so the kids can watch a movie upstairs while you have cocktails or quiet time in the living room.

There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room with a memory foam mattress that can sleep two more people.

Both bathrooms have granite counter top sinks, travertine tiles in bath/shower, and extra large shower-heads.

There is also sufficient space to use a pack-n-play crib or toddler cot, as desired.

Some other benefits that this home brings is the convenience of in-unit laundry and a dedicated secured car port.

This home now has a central air and heat unit.

The location of this perfect vacation home is excellent for a family-friendly vacation. It's not only steps away from the beach, but it is also located in quiet Crown Point. Close to stores and restaurants in Pacific Beach (5 mins by bike or car), but far enough to get a good night sleep. The house is the middle unit in a small 3-unit complex, so there is no noise from neighbors above or below either. There is an enclosed carport plus an additional parking space in front of the garage. The town home comes with a BBQ for your use as well.

The downtown Gaslamp area with its wonderful upscale restaurants is only about 12 minutes away and Little Italy is about 10 minutes away. Sea World is 1 mile, Old Town where San Diego began, is about 3 miles, the famous San Diego Zoo, the Embarcadero, and the ferry to Coronado Island are about 8 miles away. Legoland and the Wild Animal Safari Park are about 30 and 45 minutes away, and you can even make a day trip to Disneyland, which is about 1h 15 minutes away.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available. 

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please. 

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

My family enjoyed a wonderful visit to San Diego only made better by our stay in this property. The overall condition was immaculate with new/newer appliances, kitchenware, and flatware. There was even a garlic press! Mattresses were comfortable, as was the sofa, and the shades provided as much or as little natural light as desired. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and modern and the property in general was exceptionally well-kept.

The property management team included small, but useful items, such as laundry and dish detergent, shampoo, and bath soap. Movies and games for outdoor activities were also available. The location is exactly as described and quieter than expected considering its location across from the Crown Point Park. We travelled with a toddler and the park has a nice playground, grills, shelters, basketball courts, and a biking/walking trail that extends several miles to Mission Bay.

Ashley was communicative and attentive prior to and after our visit. We could not have been more pleased and feel we received great value for our money. Overall, a great stay and if traveling to the area we highly recommend this property. We travel quite often and this is the first VRBO/HomeAway property we've been compelled to review.

Best vacay ever!

This 2 bedroom town home accommodated my 5 children from ages 1-12 years old along with my husband and I. Sea world is literally 5 minutes away. The zoo was 15 minutes away. We spend two days at both sea world and the zoo from open to close. As tied as we were, the drive home was absolutely perfect! The master bedroom, world can't explain how beautiful the view is and how comfortable the bedrooms were. There's no ac at this place but trust me, with the fans that were provided and opened up the Windows to get that fresh sea air was the major plus since we came from Las Vegas, we were afraid it was gonna be uncomfortable for the babies, nope! Absolutely perfect weather. We ate breakfast on the porch every morning. There's really no complaint about this property. I do recommend that you being your own laundry detergent and dish soap if you're gonna be staying up to a week like we did. The neighbors, Lisa and we forgot the gentleman's name who lived on the other side were absolutely friendly. Lisa gave my daughter a gift and the gentleman on live on the side told us about a camp site that San Diego has to offer. They both suggested many awesome places and things to do in San Diego. E wee very thankful what this home has to offer.

WE WILL NEVER STAY AT A HOTEL EVER AGAIN! When we come back to San Diego we pray this place is available again! Thank you so so much! Words can describe how much we enjoyed staying here.

Great location: Quiet and close to everything

Wow! What a great time we had. Super clean with modern decor and appliances. Me and my two teenagers spent a week here. Great view of the ocean bay from the living room and the master suite. The home, I believe, had just received some upgrades, and they did a great job with the kitchen and bathrooms. The living room is super comfortable with a large TV and surround sound. You can literally walk to a great beach within minutes of the doorstep. If you like waves, rent a bike and within a leisurely, cool, ocean breeze, 15 minute ride you can be at Mission Beach or Pacific Beach without parking headaches. There is a car garage for this property but it only accommodates small to medium cars. Your SUV will not fit which puts you on the street in front of the property which can be challenging to find a spot close to the house especially on weekends. There are some great restaurants that we enjoyed every night all within 4-miles, try Mama Mia's, authentic Italian....awesome!! The management company were polite and helpful; calling before, during, and after our stay to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need for anything. Great place, you won't be disappointed.

Great Vacation Spot
