Linna sijaitsee vain 200 metrin päässä neliön ja Marina Stazzo, rakennettiin myöhään yhdeksästoista vuosisata ja käytetään pohjana metsästykseen. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa Castello Claves on iso olohuone pääsy tilava panoraamaterassi. Tässä kerroksessa on myös kahden hengen huone, näkymä Mount Etna, iso kahden hengen huone pääsy terassille, kolmas makuuhuone kerrossänky, kaksi kylpyhuonetta (yksi kylpyamme) ja keittiö, jossa astianpesukone.
Toisessa kerroksessa on lattialla torneineen. Torneineen tarjoavat romanttinen ja viehättävä oleskelu on upeat 360 asteen näkymä, jonka merelle ja Etna. Panoraama saa vieläkin kiehtovaa öisin kanssa kaikki kaupungit valot! Voit käyttää kaksi torneineen terassilta. North torni on kahden hengen huone, kylpyhuone. Etelä-torni on yksi huone, joka pääsee kierreportaat. Tässä huoneessa ei ole kylpyhuone.

Castello Claves on ihanteellinen perheille ja ystäville, jotka etsivät yksinoikeudella kokemus Sisiliassa! Puisto on hyvin pidetty myös kiitos omistaja, joka muun muassa on antaa kasvillisuus kasvaa jopa ensimmäisessä ja toisessa kerroksessa, jotta terassit vihreä katto ja siksi kaunis ja haluttu sävy. Virkistävä uima-allas mitat 15 x 7 metriä ja on avoinna huhtikuusta lokakuuhun.

Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa Castello Claves tarjoaa miellyttävää oleskelua myös sesongin ansiosta patterit. Torneineen, joilla ei ole lämmitys, eivät sovellu talvi oleskelua.

Stazzo: Castello Claves sijaitsee 200 metrin päässä merestä, on kylä, joka viihtyy kalastus sesongin ja matkailun sesonkiaikoina kesällä. On kaksi venesatamia ja ravintoloita. We had the most wonderful week at Castle Claves. The castle, gardens and pool were even more stunning than the pictures. The resident Liliana was utterly delightful, charming, helpful and completely respected our privacy. The castle is rich in history and full of atmosphere. A beautiful castle in a stunning location. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The pool is brilliant. The wildlife, birds and lizards in the day and little bats at night were a real pleasure for us. The garden was full of flowers and picking lemons from the trees was a real treat. The castle is crammed with amazing objects but ok for two lively boys (7 and 5). The property is close to various places of interest. Don’t miss Lorenzo's restaurant in the next village. Highly recommend for a memorable holiday.

Staying at Castello Claves was truly a magical experience. The owner of the villa is a wonderful lady who lives on the ground floor of the castle, on the completely opposite side – so discreet and kind that you barely notice anyone is there, yet everything runs perfectly. Her warmth, hospitality, and willingness to help at any moment left a lasting impression – she is truly exceptional. She welcomed us with homemade pastries, a bottle of wine, and a beautiful basket of fresh fruit – such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that instantly made us feel at home. The castle itself is magnificent. Imposing from the outside, with beautiful architectural details, and inside it exudes charm, history, and a unique sense of tranquility. Every corner feels like something out of a fairytale – it’s not something you can explain, it has to be experienced. The surroundings are stunning: lush Mediterranean vegetation, the scent of pine trees, olives, and flowers, all accompanied by the constant sound of birdsong. The view of the sea and the rooftops of the nearby village is incredibly calming – especially when enjoyed from the terrace, where you truly don’t feel like leaving the estate. The pool in the garden is a story of its own – surrounded by palm trees and old trees, with comfortable loungers and cozy seating areas. It’s the perfect spot to relax, read a book, or enjoy a glass of wine in the shade. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian experience – not as a tourist, but as a welcome guest in a dignified, magical home.

Splendid experience - everything was perfect!

We use to rent once a year a special location for a week holidays with friends. This time it was obvious: It will be very difficult - or even not possible to find some location better than the beautiful Castello Claves. Everything was perfect: The tasteful interiour of the house, the wonderful park and garden, the huge pool. And last but not least the owner, who was welcoming us with her charme and friendliness. Whenever we needed assistance she was there, but very discrete in the background. As we even did not use all the parts of the house we decided to come back another time. 100% to be recommended!

From the moment the gates opened at the castle, it was clear to our family, that we were entering a magical place. The photos do not do it justice. We were greeted by Lilliana, host/owner who gave us a tour of the house and garden, complete with the history of it's existence. Castle is filled with family photos and antiques. We felt honored that Lilliana would share her home with us. The walled in garden, complete with swings and pool provided a safe place for our grandchildren to play. The location was conveniently located to the sights we wished to visit, Mount Etna, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. A short walk from the castle is a restaurant, La Conchiglia and the Blue Bar. I recommend both. There is a good supermarket ten minutes by car. You will need a car as well as patience to navigate the terrain and the narrow roads. Driving can be tricky. Our family enjoyed our week in paradise. I highly recommend this property.

This is a large unique place with huge amounts of old world charm. Everything works and everthing is there. But in addition there are photos, pictures, furniture, lights, mirrors going back across family generations since the place was built. Massive character. The beds are old and perhaps they could do with modern linen. There was no TV which was great. You can see Etna clearly from the back. The garden was massive and somewhat overgrown. The pool was excellent but cold but this is what you would expect for May. The place is very secure. Some local dogs bark from time to time. The sheer charm of the place, the many rooms, the staircase, the large veranda where we had dinner several times, are the best memories. And Liliana the host was exceptionally nice.

Our stay at Lilianas house was perfect and wonderful! The house and its garden with the pool are most beautiful. We stayed with a total number of 10 persons and travelled with 3 children (2 months, 1 1/2 years and 2 years). There were sleeping cods for all three children. The terrace is big enough for them to play safely. The pool is fenced and with its size perfect for entertaining children of all ages. On the other side its big enough for adults to swim laps. The ocean is only a 5 minute walk away. There are several possibilities to dive into the ocean. However, the rocky beaches are less suitable for swimming with smaller children. The kitchen is very well equiped including a dish washer and a washing mashine. Liliana is a very pleasant lady, a lovely host and always very helpful. We could not have asked for a better place to stay! Thank you

This property is a hidden gem. The "castle" is situated amidst several acres of a beautifully groomed private park, with flowering vines, palm trees and a huge and well maintained swimming pool - a true oasis from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding seaside villages. Yet you are only a 200 yard walk to the Stazzo waterfront. But the best part of the property is the castle itself. You'll feel like royalty staying in this beautifully appointed house full of family heirlooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, as is the large dining room. There are several terraces on different levels from which you have stunning views of the sea on one side and Mt. Etna on the other. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, the castle proved to be the perfect venue for a family gathering to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It also proved to be a good base to see the sights of eastern Sicily, including Mt. Etna, Catania, Syracusa, Noto, Ragusa, and Modica - most of which are within a 30-90 minute driving radius. On our next visit, we plan to do less sight-seeing and more time relaxing at the castle and chatting with it's charming owner, Liliana!

Magical week in a unique home.

Our week at Liliana’s beautiful Castello was a delight. We were a party of 8; two parents & 6 young adults 17-23. There was plenty of beds to go round and enough bathrooms too. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for our needs. The decor throughout is charming and reflects a true family home without feeling cluttered or intrusive. The outside spaces are even more wonderful. The half shaded veranda is very spacious and perfect for dining and lazing around. The terrace between the towers offers stunning views of Etna and the sea and on occasions we ate there too. Both spaces have large tables and chairs. The swimming pool is a proper size at 15m and well equipped with loungers, shower and changing room. Water temperature in June - perfect. The whole Castello is surrounded by a stunning garden which is lovingly maintained. Beautiful scented shrubs everywhere, tropical palms and mature trees. Fresh lemons to pick from the orchard. The place is teeming with birds and butterflies. The town of Stazzo is lively but refreshingly unpretentious. The restaurant on the square sells delicious pizza, the two bars are busy and fun. Fresh fruit and veg from a stall on the square is high quality and good value. In the evening a gelati van sells modestly priced cornets. Our host Liliana was so kind, helpful and respectful of our privacy. Nothing was too much trouble. She wanted us to have a wonderful time in her magical home and we did -100%.

Liliana ist die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich denken kann. Freundlich, unaufdringlich und soooo nett. Das Haus ist mit allem Interieur aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert. Das muss man mögen und wir haben das sehr genossen. Das bekommt man nicht alle Tage. Der Pool hat uns viel Spaß gemacht. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Ins Turmzimmer sollte allerdings nur, wer dazu noch körperlich und Lage ist.

Liliana hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns eine Führung durch das Anwesen gegeben und von der Geschichte des Hauses erzählt. Sie war immer verfügbar, wenn wir was gebraucht haben. Der Poolbereich ist sehr großzügig und eignet sich hervorragend um ganze Nachmittage dort zu verbringen. Die Zimmer und die Bäder waren sehr sauber, aber das Haus ist alt, das sollte man bedenken, wenn man sich für das schöne Castello entscheidet und daher auch mit etwas Patina rechnen. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Woche im Castello verbracht. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen, wenn man als Größere Gruppe unterwegs ist!

Our stay was absolutely incredible in Lilianas castle! A truly unique experience, incredible history and beautiful antiques everywhere. The pool area is the best I have ever experienced in a holiday rental. Enormous and plenty of comfy seating for everyone to lounge. Lots of nearby great days out. The pictures do not do the grandeur justice. Do not hesitate to book, you wll not regret it!! Oh and Liliana is absolutely lovely!! 10/10 experience ????

The castle is old and charming. Liliana is the best host I have ever met, you truly feel welcome and connected to her family history. The is very big and we could still enjoy it at the end of October. The only negative thing in my sensitive point of view are the barking dogs in the neighborhood.
