This Sebago Lake house right on the water is a Dutch colonial with four bedrooms and a lower level dorm room. Three bedrooms have beds that sleep 2. The fourth bedroom upstairs has a bed that sleeps 2, a single bed, and another bed that sleeps two that is not on a bed frame. The basement level dorm on the slope down to the lake has two sets of bunk beds, a double futon, and single rollaway. The house can sleep altogether, six couples and six singles. On site, we also have two more rollaways, a couple of more mattresses, and a double air mattress. The large living room has a beautiful stone fireplace with a couch and several comfortable chairs. In that space, there is a dining area that seats up to 12 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes, and cooking pots and pans. There is a breakfast nook there with seating for at least eight people. There is an outside deck with a table that seats 8. The house is equipped with 3 full baths. Cable and wi-fi, a radio/stereo with music collection available. The basement level has a ping-pong room. Also available are croquet, horseshoes, 2 adult bicycles, and one or two child bikes. There are two canoes and two kayaks. At the wooden dock side, there is a pontoon boat with seating for 11 for socializing. (Operation not included unless with special arrangements.) At the lake shore, there is a small beach with a typical Maine rocky area. The house is also equipped with six lawn chairs, two outdoor grills, some child floats and assorted toys. Parking is available for four cars with special arrangements for more. The house has a nice outside flower garden with hanging planters in the front. Whittemore Cove is a quiet enclave. Walkers can circle from the end of Whittemore Cove Road to the end of a parallel private road that also joins Raymond Cape Road--a 45 minute walk. The ferry to Frye Island is near the Whittemore Cove Road turn off. Swimmers can swim about 75 yards to a rock used for sunbathing and diving.

This house is owned by William and Ursula Slavick who reside in Portland, Maine. Bill is a retired American Literature Professor and Ursula is a retired high school teacher of German. The house was finished in 2000 and is used for family get togethers for much of the summer.

Wonderful stay at Lakefront house
We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful waterfront home. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. The living area was very cozy with its beautiful stone fireplace and perfect for sharing meals. There is plenty of room for a few families. The kids loved the lower level dorm room. The owners were always easy to reach if you had question, replying quickly to massages.
We left with many wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return in the future. Lake Sabago is gorgeous!

Sebago Lake State Park is under 10 miles away and has wonderful trails, swimming on a beach, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Migis Lodge, with a beautiful lake-view setting is just a few miles away and has a Friday night Lobster cookout open to the public.
Frye Island Ferry is walking distance from the house and brings people back and forth from the island. There is a restaurant and ice cream shop on the island.
Seacoast Adventure Park in Windham has mini golf, go carts, snow tubing in the winter and water tubing in the summer, disc golf, sky wing, an adventure park with a top course, bumper boats, and water park feature for young children.
Shawnee Peak for skiing and snowboarding is about 25 miles away and has numerous trails for a range of abilities.
There are movie theaters in both Windham and Bridgton. Our recommendation is for the Bridgton.
Antique shops are numerous in the area.
