Venga a crear nuevos recuerdos con sus amigos y familiares en nuestro entorno tranquilo, ubicado en los pinos de Ponderosa. Gran propiedad privada de 1 acre con vistas al bosque. Mucha vida salvaje, vehículos todo terreno y senderos para caminar y espacios abiertos. Amplio espacio en casa principal para grupos más grandes. Esta hermosa cabaña de 2100 pies se encuentra en un gran terreno de un acre rodeado de altos pinos y respaldos a grandes terrenos privados abiertos con hermosas vistas del borde. La casa de dos pisos es muy espaciosa y recientemente remodelada. Cuenta con pisos de madera renovados y baños renovados. Un montón de vigas de madera decoran la planta baja. Hay Wi-Fi en todo el hogar y televisores de pantalla grande con DVD en las habitaciones. Cada piso tiene sus propias mini divisiones para controlar el calor y el frío, lo que agrega calidez a las áreas de estar y comedor. También hay una estufa de pellets de leña para las noches frías. Asientos de cocina 6 cómodamente con plano de planta abierto a la sala de estar principal. Además, la isla de la cocina es ideal para sentarse y preparar la comida. La conversión del ático tiene 2 camas matrimoniales y 3 camas individuales con mucho espacio para colchonetas o sacos de dormir. El piso de arriba tiene un baño compartido actualizado. Este segundo piso está dedicado a los niños o familias más pequeñas y tiene su propio reproductor de TV y DVD.

El área del patio trasero tiene un área dedicada a fogatas con asientos para muchos invitados. También hay una parrilla justo afuera de la puerta que está conectada directamente a la línea de gas. También tenemos una hamaca relajante y un área de juego de herradura en el patio delantero sombreado. Incluso tenemos un campo de práctica de tiro con arco para agudizar sus habilidades. Hay mucha vida salvaje para ver. Si eres madrugador, podrías tener suerte y ver al alce durmiendo en el patio. ¡Disfrutar!

Great host! Clean and comfortable beds. A few hiccups but Marty was all over it and took care of everything. He answered all responses immediately and communicated everything perfectly. We will definitely stay there again.

Mountain Home

I had a great time and loved the area. House was a bit older than I thought and parking, since we had a trailer with ATV's was a little bit of an issue. But if you are looking for a larger home where you can meet the family and enjoy each others company this is perfect. We went to the lake close by there and they have forest close by for riding our ATV's. So we had lots of out door activities to keep us busy.

Bad communication!

Our experience with the house was not good. Upon arrival, the house was not cleaned. Rather than admitting and taking ownership, the owner claimed they thought the booking was canceled or they didn't expect anyone to come. After communicating back and forth, the owner said the cleaners would come. The cleaners arrived late after we were already in the house, which made the experience awkward. In general, I would rate it higher, but because the house wasn't clean upon our arrival and the owner lacked responsibility by blaming the customer, others should be aware to avoid the same bad experience.

Definitely not as advertised!

I would not recommend staying at this VRBO property. The cleanliness of the place was absolutely atrocious. The sheets on the beds were stained, so I had to strip them and clean them myself. There were bugs all over the floor, and the carpets in the bathroom were so dirty and stained that it looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathrooms were a nightmare, with toe nail clippings in the shower. The furniture upstairs was broken and falling apart. The Wi-fi was intermittent, and the coffee pot was broken. The towels smelled like they hadn't been cleaned, and there were no extra towels provided. Overall, the furniture throughout the house was disgusting. To make matters even worse, the pillows on the beds were stained and unhygienic, adding to the discomfort of our stay. The mattress covers had yellow stains on them, and the comforters were dirty and had noticeable stains as well. It was clear that the cleanliness of this VRBO property was severely lacking. The air hockey table was broken and there was nothing for the children to do. When I messaged the property owner to address these issues, his response was dismissive and unapologetic. He simply suggested that maybe the property wasn't the right fit for us and offered a full refund for us to find alternative accommodation. I strongly advise against staying at this VRBO property. The numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues make it an unsuitable and unpleasant place.

Labor Day getaway

We all enjoyed our stay, the air hockey and swing was a hit with the kids. We were out most of the day, 1st day on our SXS riding on trails to Young stopping and getting snacks and drinks and then heading back we found Haigler Creek stayed there 30 minutes headed back before it got too dark. Next day went fishing & pass the time at Woods Canyon Lake(only 25min drive) was a little crowded because the holiday but we had a good time. It was nice to get out of the heat for a couple days.

Nice secluded location, lots of space

There was no fully stocked Keurig as advertised, had to drive back to town for coffee. Would have been nice to know it was broken ahead of time. Had some issues with an incorrect add-on cleaning charge. The host charged the wrong reservation (me) but didn't seem to listen very well when I tried to explain it must be a mistake. Seems like an honest mistake on his part and was eventually resolved after too much back and forth but I'd recommend taking pictures when you check out so you have proof.

Great for Astrophotography

We found this VRBO perfect for our nighttime astrophotography. For other astronomers who might be interested, the moonless sky is quite dark, measuring 21.5-21.8 mag/arcsec^2. The sky is mostly clear of trees looking north, east and south. Visually the Milky Way was quite bright and the transparency allowed us to get images of very faint objects not possible in urban areas. The accommodations were more than adequate for our purposes. If you are looking for a place to do astrophotography or have a star party, this one is excellent.

A great family getaway just a short trip outside Payson.

Our family rented this large cabin for a mini reunion. It had everything we needed. Lots of beds in dorm style setting. Big living room allowed everyone to hang out and play games. Everyone enjoyed our stay!!

Spacious and Cozy

We had a wonderful stay! Spacious for a large group to sleep, eat and relax. The windows brought the outdoors in and the pellet stove kept us warm and cozy. Enjoyed the nearby hiking, Fall colors and starry skies.

A Beautiful Getaway

A gorgeous property! Plenty of room for our party of 11. Lots to do, including a swing, firepit, horseshoes, foosball, air hockey and corn hole. We spent our first 2 days completely on property because the kids were enjoying themselves so much! Plenty of dishes, silverware and cookwear to make every meal in-house. Check--in was a breeze. Marty was the perfect host and his communication with us before and after our trip was excellent. Will definitely book again!

Big House!

The house is so big! The kids loved the game tables (air hockey, fuzz ball) and we loved the outside property! Hammocks, fire pit, swing, really a great place for kids and adults! I would definitely recommend this property and would love to return !

Sunroom doors did not open to access room. Down stairs bathroom water shower handle loose poops off. BBQ grill needs to be cleaned under the grill plates. Had to search the upstairs for TV remote, for tv downstairs. Washing machine off balance started a few towels as they asked and was shaking. Light above stove did not work. There was no broom left out so we could sweep floor after eating mind you, we had little kids with us. Fire pit area did not look like pictures.

We are a family of 5 and love to travel and share our family home with others. We love being outdoors, taking hikes, riding motorcycles and exploring the seasons and beauty of the mountains. Our family believes that life is short and one of the most important things we can do is spend time together on quick or long family vacations.

We take pride in our vacation home and hope that others that stay with us will have a memorable and pleasant visit. Our family has put lots of hard work into this property in hopes for many family and friends to enjoy it and create life long memories. We have used Vacation rentals to travel all over the state, country and world and want others to have an enjoyable experience on their getaways as well.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This beautiful cabin sits on a large one acre lot surrounded by tall pines and backs to large open private land with beautiful views of the rim. The two story home is very open, and newly remodeled. It features updated wood tile floors, with an open floor plan. Lots of wood beams, decorate the downstairs. There is cable & Wi-Fi throughout the home & big screen TVs with DVDs in bedroom. Each floor has it's own mini splits to control heat and cool which adds warmth to the living & dining areas. Kitchen seats 6 comfortably with open floor plan to main living area. Also the kitchen island is great for extra sitting and food prep area. Kitchen has a gas stove, newer appliances and fully stocked: coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, knives, dishes, pots and pans, glasses. All bedrooms have pillows, comforters, blankets & sheets. All bathrooms have fresh clean towels. First floor has a master bedroom with a queen size bed & bathroom. The first floor also has a laundry area with washer & dryer and lots of storage. Game area in the main garage has a large air hockey table for your enjoyment. There are 3 bedrooms which includes the master suite with queen bed that has its own sitting area, large closet and updated bathroom The other two rooms are upstairs loft with 4 twin beds and the attic conversion has 2 full and 3 twin bed. Plus plenty of space for mats or sleeping bags. The upstairs has an updated bathroom with rain shower. This 2nd floor is dedicated to the kids or smaller families and has it's own TV and dvd player.

The backyard area has a dedicated firepit area with seating for plenty of guest. There is also a grill right out the front door that's plumbed directly to the gas line. There are additional chairs in the garage to spend time in the beautiful outdoors. There is plenty of wildlife to see. If you are any early riser, you could get lucky and see the elk sleeping right in the yard. Enjoy!

Great for larger groups and exceptional value. There is nearby fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATV rides, hunting and bird watching are just a few of the activities in the area. Many varieties of birds make this area their home. Hunters, we're conveniently located in Game & Fish unit #23. Anglers will appreciate our immediate proximity to area lakes and streams.
