Great Stay

Stayed for only a couple nights but it was amazing. House was great and the location cant be beaten. Check in was easy, and included a tour of the home and some local tips (which we needed). Couldnt have been better!

Amalfi Home

This house was fantastic, the view was amazing, the property manager was incredibly responsive and the activities were amazing (do not miss out on the boat trip to Capri and the cooking class)! The stay was so peaceful and we were so thankful we stayed here and not in Positano where the crowds were intense. This is the place to stay…look no further!

Spectacular! We felt like we were in a dream. The villa was perfect, spacious, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable for 10 people. The terrace was a pure delight.

Great stay in Amalfi

We had a great time during our stay in Amalfi. The location and house was perfect for our two families. Gulia was so helpful in arranging transportation, excursions and general information with the area. Highly recommend!

- amazing villa on the cliff overlooking the Amalfi coast; walkable to Amalfi and the beach (down 400 steps) - host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional

Beautiful house with a beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast. The patio is the perfect hangout area with a good size hot tub, which was great on a slightly chilly night. The host was incredibly helpful and thoughtful! Would highly recommend!!!Disclaimer** If you are looking for a place to stay and your personal health is questionable or you are lazy. Don't book this property and leave anything less than 5 Stars, because you suck... not the property

The most beautiful villa with the most gracious hosts!

Amalfi Villa Lauro

What a wonderful escape and beautiful villa close to Amalfi but far enough away to feel private. We couldn't have asked for a more perfet villa and host "Guilia" to stay for our first time on the Amalfi Coast. The home was immaculate, the amenties were spot on and the beautiful garden terrace was the icing on the cake. Many wonderful memories were made and when we come back we will definately stay again at Villa Lauro.

We loved everything about the Villa and Guilia our contact person. The location was perfect, close to downtown Amalfi. Giulia met us when we checked in and went over everything very meticulously. She set up transportation and recommended a few restaurants for us . 10 out of 10 stay!

Vacation of a lifetime

Villa Lauro is a spectacular place. Family had the most beautiful time. We celebrated our 26th anniversary with family and had Chef Gino prepare us a wonderful meal. Giulia is the most gracious hostess and made our stay even more comfortable. She was informative, available and kind. Villa Lauro is a place for peace, tranquility, and the best people.

Villa Lauro Is Amazing!

My friends and I stayed at this spectacular Villa in Amalfi and it was one of the greatest experiences of our lives. The Host is amazing and she was very informative and easy to work with. The bedroom and amenities were spacious and beautiful. The best part of this place was the outside area/terrace. It was very spacious with stunning views of the water and the Amalfi coast. We had a group of 9 friends plus an infant spend 4 nights here and it was well worth it. I couldn’t recommend this place more, book it.

Wonderful experience

Villa Lauro was a fabulous home away from home on the coast. We had no issues staying at the Villa. Giulia was a dream, and went above and beyond during our stay. From assisting us with a special birthday dinner one night at the villa to helping us locate and retrieve a bag that we left one night at a local restaurant, she was superb! It was very difficult to leave Villa Lauro. I hope to return to this very special place soon!

Outstanding villa in a perfect location

The pictures on the site paint a perfect picture. Such a beautiful, calm and relaxing place to be. Easy access to the GAS bar for pizzas, pasta, coffee and drinks when needed. Steps close by down to the beach with wonderful facilities and Amalfi is an easy 20 minute stroll downhill. Plenty of buses to get home that drop you off at the door also (5 mins max) A real delight and Giulia a great host who is happy to help with anything you need. Highly recommended and we, and our 3 kids, were sad to leave.

Great host and good location to explore Amalfi coast

Giulia was a great host. She arranged our boat rental for a day trip to Island of Capri, transportation to the start of the hike for Path of the Gods, and transportation and a tour guide for Pompeii and Herculaneum. The house was beautiful. We had 2 families and used both the house and the lower room. The outdoor deck and pool/tub was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing or beach. I highly recommend a trip to Ravello while you are there. Thanks!

Dream Vacation Spot

Many times the homes in real life don't look as fabulous as the pics on the app but this is a rare exception where this home exceeded the pics and offered an exceptional sense of cleanliness, beauty, spectacular views & comfort. The host offered amazing reliability to assist with transport, dining options and anything we needed assistance with. We felt cared for, like part of the family. This sets the bar way high!! I'll be returning for sure! :)

Amalfi Magic!

After a few bustling days in Rome our stay in Amalfi was peaceful and joyful. From the moment we met Giulia and entered Villa Lauro we were caught up in the magic. Every room a delight. Sunshine, amazing views, airy space, everything we hoped for and more. Yes, the stairs must be reckoned with but we got better and better at them. Being oldest I was fine, just had to be smart about my pace UP! Going down was a joy. The pool much enjoyed and needed! We had a blast. We loved the location. We loved Gas Bar. We loved Villa Lauro!

Perfect for us

Villa is a beautiful as everyone says. It is about a 25 minute walk to Amalfi center down hill, 35 back uphill. We used the bus often which was easy, can use $20-$30 euros each way, which seemed excessive for the short ride. Walking the endless steps in the summer heat was tough. I recommend having the dinner catered at the villa one night. They did a great job. Giulia is awesome and very responsive to any needs.

Beautiful Italian villa in a great location

Two families shared this Villa for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our Italian experience! The home and view is beautiful, Guila, our hostess, was a great communicator and very patient with our crew! She checked in throughout the week and was helpful with making reservations and recommendations. We had never visited the Amalfi coast and had a hard time before our trip understanding the surrounding area. The GAS bar is steps away and is a great amenity located very close to the villa. Not only is it a fun place, but you can get espresso, a cocktail and great food with a view! Very handy to have nearby.We booked a private chef and a boat for two days during our stay. Each individual we worked with was top-notch. She also referred us to a cab driver who took care of us throughout the week.If you are looking for a true Italian holiday, look no further! A piece of paradise...a spectacularly beautiful Villa!

May 24-May 28, 2016 We had the most incredible four days staying at Villa Lauro ! The Villa is absolutely gorgeous with ultra modern baths and kitchen, beautiful tiled floors and painted ceilings, large rooms, beautiful gardens and a spectacular view of the Gulf of Salerno! We enjoyed its peaceful location, which is about a 10 minute walk away from the noise and bustle of downtown Amalfi. Groceries can be delivered and the Gas Bar just steps away had the best pizza of our entire 2 weeks on the Amalfi coast. Giulia our host was so sweet and helpful and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We loved our stay at Villa Lauro and would love to return! ❤️ Judy , Michael , Alan and Mary ( Boston MA USA )

A lovely oasis in the bustle of Amalfi

The Villa is only a couple km outside Amalfi ( easily walkable along the rather exciting road!) but it is a wonderful respite from the tourist craziness. The deck is amazing for breakfast and at the end of the day and the villa is very comfortable for 5-6 people. Giulia is also an excellent property manager - great communication and very helpful especially with transportation. Also the beach just down from the villa is a jewel - way less crowded and very lovely. And with almost 500 steps you earn your pasta! My only “ could be better” are the bathroom amenities. They should be what a nice hotels do and they were a little chintzy. But it is a tiny complaint to an overall lovely stay! Fun was had by all!
