Picture perfect

This apartment was spot on to what you see online. We never talked to the host in person it was all handled by email and lock box but the process was very smooth. Great location and if you’re driving there is a parking garage very close.

A wonderful experience

Simone is an excellent host and concierge. Everything went smoothly from the initial reservation to the end of our stay, with Simone answering all of our questions to optimize our stay in Catania. As others have noted the apartment is well located minutes from Catania Centro. It is characteristic of Catania with modern touches including a very comfortable mattress, bath facilities and quiet insulated walls. We highly recommend this property.

Citylage mit Fluch und Segeb

Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral in Catania und daher auch perfekt für einen Besuch in der Stadt. Auch die Ausstattung ist ausreichend, Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Leider ist die Stadtlage auch ein kleiner Fluch. Die Bar direkt nebenan ist leider recht laut - auch unter der Woche und spät in die Nacht hinein. Fairerweise muss man aber sagen, dass das auch meine eigene Schuld war, weil das schon in anderen Bewertungen geschrieben wurde. Daher: Wenn man damit kein Problem hat, ist das ideal.

Alloggio wow!

Complessivamente abbiamo trovato il nostro soggiorno in questa casa-vacanza ottima, l’unico aspetto che abbiamo trovato scomodo e poco funzionale riguarda la doccia, in quanto la scelta di mettere una tenda come chiusura della doccia non è proprio delle migliori, questo perché usciva dal piatto allagando il pavimento. Per il resto riteniamo che l’ambiente in generale della casa fosse confortevole e accogliente. Inoltre abbiamo trovato un gesto davvero gentile il fatto di aver trovato all’arrivo generi alcuni alimenti per la colazione (come caffè, fette biscottate, ecc...) e prodotti di condimento per la preparazione dei pasti (come sale, pepe, olio, ecc...) una carineria per il cliente per niente scontata e non così comune come possa sembrare. Infine ringraziamo molto sia Simone che il papà per la loro disponibilità in caso di qualsiasi necessità.

Sfortunatamente la configurazione della doccia non prevede la tenda ma la porta scorrevole in vetro che abbiamo dovuto rimuovere per motivi di sicurezza in quanto danneggiata da dei clienti prima del vostro arrivo. Provvederemo ad una nuova installazione non appena i ricambi arriveranno in sede. Grazie ancora per il vostro soggiorno!

Gemütliches Appartement in der Altstadt von Catania

Das Appartment liegt in einem Innenhof eines Palazzos mitten in der Altstadt. Zu Fuß sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie der Bahnhof als auch der Busbahnhof für individuelle Ausflüge entlang der Ostküste Siziliens und der Ätnaregion oder auch zur Strandmeile erreichbar. Obwohl die Via Teatro Massimo viele Bars mit regem Nachtleben aufweist, ist die Lage zum Hof relativ ruhig. Die Fenster sind gut schallgedämmt und die Klimaanlage sorgt für angenehme Kühle auch in den heißen Sommermonaten. Wir haben unseren Urlaub im August sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist ideal für zwei Personen. Sie ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Auf dem Markt haben wir uns mit leckeren sizilianischen Köstlichkeiten eingedeckt und haben in der Küche alles vorgefunden, was für die Zubereitung erforderlich ist. Die Siesta konnten wir sehr angenehm und gemütlich auf der Flucht vor der drückenden Großstadthitze verbringen. Sehr schön ist auch der kleine lauschige Freisitz vor Eingang im Hof. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufmerksam, gut organisiert und jederzeit ansprechbar.

Great location

Comfortable apartment had everything we needed and the owner was helpful and attentive. Lovely street close to both the train station and to major historic sites. The area is quite quiet and off of busy streets, but a couple of nights the nearby club had music that was loud enough to hear in the bedroom, although it was quite muted.

Great location, clean, comfortable, wonderful hosts

Within walking distance of everything in Catania, this charming apartment right at the Bellini Piazza was perfect for our two-month stay. Our hosts were the most gracious that could be. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and complete black-out shutters let us sleep late easily when we worked nights. The only drawback is that there's a bar next door that stays open till the wee hours of the morning and it can be loud. But the windows knock back most of the sound. There are cafes and restaurants within a 30-second walk, the Opera house right down the plaza a minute away, and you're just a quick walk to the center of the city. We will stay there again!
