Stunning views
The views from the villa are simply amazing. There are some great views around the island but these better them. The villa is modern with ample space with good size bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level and 2 bedrooms on the ground/ entrance level. The double sided lounge is on the first floor with views all round. Although there is a large kitchen - diner on the lower ground floor we used the smaller kitchen on the ground floor as we ate on the large pool terrace . The pool is a good size.
The villa is just beyond the village of Fterno at the end of a tricky road which is tarmac in parts. But this is typical on this island. The last bit is a short 20 m steep bit. It wasn’t a problem for our normal cars. A car is essential and anyone who is worried about driving on the island especially on Greek roads should look for a holiday elsewhere where the road infrastructure is superb.
We ate at some great places in Syvota, Vasiliki, Geni where the lagoon is and also in Lefkada town. The furthest we travelled was about 25 minutes to Lefkada town.
We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
