This is without doubt a truly remarkable property full of charm and beauty. Everything is as listed and offers a relaxing rural break with breathtaking views. The host and housekeeper are amazingly helpful and every little detail is taken care of. Imagine heaven with an Italian hue. We’ll be back.

We were a party of 11 people including my six year old grandson. The villa itself exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled with its spaciousness. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you might need. The bedrooms were beautifully clean, light and airy and air-conditioned, which was a blessing as the the outside temperatures were almost unbearable during the day. Some family members ventured out each day, but we all enjoyed relaxing at the villa and by the pool, which, incidentally, is huge and in the late afternoon its temperature was like bathwater! There is a shallow end of the pool but our six year old couldn't touch the bottom which is something to bear in mind if you have little ones. He was more than happy playing on the steps and jumping into the waiting arms of various aunties and uncles though. On our last night, we'd all run out of steam and made a last minute decision to order a meal to be delivered. Orietta managed to produce enough food for nine people including two vegetarians at very short notice which was superb. Finally, the communications with the owner and Noemi, who was our go to in Avigliano, were first class. Nothing was too much trouble and any questions were answered promptly. If you are considering Il Greggio, we would all highly recommend it. It's not cheap but it is worth it.

Our party of 4 adults stayed a week on our first trip to Umbria. Todi was the perfect location. The property is in a delightful and peaceful location, set in really nice gardens and spacious pool with recliners and decking. 10 minute walk to the entrance to the the historic part of Todi and another 10 minute to reach the main piazza. The apartment was the lower part of a very nice villa which was nicely presented,with a great covered outside area where we mostly had meals. Whilst it was an apartment, it felt like a private villa with nice views from the windows. Spacious, good quality,well equipped, well maintained and very clean. Had everything we needed. Adele the owner host was charming, very responsive and helpful. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and Todi. Thanks Adele.!

We spent a wonderful week at the villa as a family with two children 11 and 13. 5 star review, no faults from the house to the amazing pool. We all hope to return again!

Ideal for family and friends get together, especially having a bathroom with each bedroom, a must with two messy teenagers. Beautifully restored old villa and amazing pool although it could have done with some form of heating as quite cold even at the end of July. Beds very comfy. Rosa the villa owner was exceptional and helped us with our shopping and booked all our tests whilst in quarantine for 5 days. She even left us a few home baked treats during our stay. The only criticism I have with the property is the kitchen. Very small and in need of modernisation and not really suitable for catering for 8 people in its present condition. A real lack of preparation space. That said, if you were going out for dinner most nights there are plenty of lovely restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

There is nothing that we can find to say negative about this wonderful place. It was amazing from start to finish, the beautiful village unspoiled Italy at its best located in the quietest and most wonderful countryside. Surrounded by forests and peace and tranquillity. The views are breathtaking. The place itself is spotlessly clean everything is thought of and Well equipped. From the sun loungers on the roof Terrace where we had breakfast lunch and an early aperitif. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly in the evening so we retired to the comfort of the sitting room and lit the fanatic open fire which was so well vented and my husband cooked chestnuts in the ashes which was amazing. The owners Maria and Franco are so helpful and polite and take pride in the place which shows throughout the property. If you are looking for a place that gives you peace and quiet away from it all but with amenities in the house of every sortThis is the place for you. Like the people before we found thee Drive to the house a little interesting don’t take any other road then the road which the owners advise you and keep going even if you think you are on the wrong road. It’s well worth it The place is located a fantastically for visiting the local area and further afield. If you love Italy and Italian hilltop villages.This is the place for you. You can’t get peace and tranquillity like this without a little bit of driving I guess. The place is located fantastically for visiting the local area and further afield. We can wholeheartedly recommend you stay here if you do love peace and tranquillity and want to experience the real Italy.

Just home from Carlo's apartment in Todi. The apartment is in an absolutely charming and friendly town in Umbria. The apartment is inside the old City wall a short distance from theCentral square . It is a beautiful apartment with lovely decor but the wow factor are the views...especially from the balcony. To top it off Carlo is a super host who gave us great recommendations for restraints and days out. We would highly recommend the apartment and the town of Todi for your trip to Umbria 😀
