Pen-Y-Bryn is the top part of a converted family home recently updated for holiday use, with easy access by road, 2 parking spaces, with stunning views of the town itself, Looe River and Looe Island.

It has two double bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/Diner and a lounge, both with views out to sea and the town. Modern quality furniture and soft furnishings within comfortable surroundings.

There is also a balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views of the Cornish Countryside, sea, river and watch the fantastic sunset.

The self-contained apartment is set in the heart of East Looe - ideally situated overlooking both the English Channel with the famous Looe Island in full view, and Looe River. The property is a short, 10-minute walk, from the sandy beach, historic harbour, cafes and restaurants.

This coastal location in South-East Cornwall is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape from everyday working life.

The property sleeps up to 4 adults, a cot is also available for young children, and is ideal for family holidays, couples and small groups.

A short distance from superb local attractions such as Eden Project, all of Cornwall's famous Gardens, such as Lost Garden of Heligan, and beautiful stately homes.

Looe Golf club, country/coastal walks along with various smaller beaches are all within a short distance.

                                                              Welcoming, comfortable, with stunning views - a perfect winter break.

                                                              Just spent a great week here in February. Pen-Y-Bryn is situated, like the majority of homes in Looe, high over the town. The lounge windows have the most fantastic views over the harbour and estuary, and there's a small terrace landing outside where you can sit out in warm weather and take in the views from there. Pat and Brian gave us a warm, friendly welcome and were always on hand if needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and the whole place was toasty warm, lovely to come back to after a long day's sightseeing in what was sunny, but quite chilly, weather. The cosy lounge has two lovely settees which were great to flop on to in the evening and chill out.

                                                              Looe has lots of character with its harbour, interesting shops, and some great places to eat. It's also compact to walk around once down on the town level. You can tackle the steep climb down to the town and back up if you have strong legs and lungs, otherwise we found it easy to drive down and park in the Harbour or Millpool car parks. If you want a drink with your meal, there are also inexpensive taxis on hand to whisk you back up the hill. As a base, it's handy for so many places: the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, Fowey, Seaton and Plymouth. If you fancy a day out on the train as we did, take the single-carriage Looe Valley Line train to Liskeard, change to the GWR train to St. Erth, then hop on to the short branch line to St. Ives. The views over the bay are stunning on a sunny day.

                                                              STAYED HERE IN OCT 2017. BRIAN KEPT IN TOUCH WITH US THROUGHOUT THE LEAD-UP TO OUR STAY.                                                               First piece of advice - follow Brian's directions, do not follow your satnav up Shutta Road. A nightmare start to our stay! Once there, we were warmly welcomed by Brian and Pat. The apartment is roomy, clean and well appointed with everything you could need. The best feature is the views down to the beach, the river with all the little boats moored, and then upstream to the River Looe. Every bit as good as the photos on the website. And we had a sunny evening so we're able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. Brilliant!

                                                              We were two couples travelling around UK. This place was perfect for us. The apartment or house is very comfortable and fully equipped. There's good wifi, parking place, washing machine and so on. The view to Looe harbour is beautiful. You could just sit on terrace and look down to Looe. If you like to walk, there are very nice walking paths around Looe. Close to the house is Spar and down Looe there's few Coop markets.

                                                              Pat and Brian, who lives downstairs, are very helpful and kind.

                                                              We absolutely enjoyed our time in Looe and definitely recommend this place!
