Immediate access to the River Walk pathway will connect you to Eau Claire Market, Eau Claire YMCA, Prince's Island, the Calgary Zoo, Fort Calgary, and historic Inglewood and Kensington neighborhoods. All that Calgary's downtown has to offer is literally at your feet (easy walking distance): office towers, theaters, restaurants, shops, the Glenbow Museum, the Centre for the Performing Arts and the Calgary Stampede Grounds. A 10 minute walk takes you to the C Train Transit System that connects to all of Calgary (and is even FREE all along the downtown core!). This condo does not have its own parking spot, however you can easily enjoy the city by foot and transit to save yourself the rental car and parking fees. And there is street parking available (rates are about $25 a day during the week and $3 a day on weekends). Why Dale Kwong chose Northwest Calgary

This is truly a 5-star condo, I fell in love with it after meeting a woman in the basement of a Chinatown store while planning a walking tour. When I learned she had a Chinatown condo she sometimes rented on VRBO, I asked to see it out of curiosity.

Oh-my-goodness, I couldn't believe how beautifully decorated the condo is. The colours are modern, and the vibe is zen. This is not by accident, I'm told the condo was feng shui'd to achieve balance and harmony. It's truly relaxing here, and seems to restore your spirit.

During the day there are beautiful views and great people watching. Sip your coffee on the balcony while watching Chinese seniors doing tai chi by the river. There's a 3D smart TV in the living room, but the walkers, doggies, rafters, and bikers are much better viewing!

In the unit itself are beautiful lighting options including under bed lighting, a translucent orange vase, glitter crystals above the bathroom mirrors, and a stained glass picture frame that lights up. It's beautiful at night, and I imagine akin to living in an art gallery.

Whether for business or pleasure, you will love coming back to this oasis of tranquility in the heart of Chinatown.

What makes this apartment unique

This downtown oasis has everything you need for business or pleasure - I've stocked the kitchen with some basics to get you started, and there are toiletries and other supplies that travellers will appreciate. There is a 24-foot balcony with stellar views of the river and Center Street Bridge, a steamer shower, soaker tub, nebulizer with essential oils, bluetooth speaker, 3D smart TV, and settings & space to host dinner for 8 if you need.

There is a binder of information and photos that explains how everything works, and I've put together tourist folders for Calgary and nearby day trips. Of course, there is free wifi and 500 minutes long distance to anywhere in North America. There is easy access to activities for school aged children, but this is not recommended for babies or toddlers.

Well located down town apartment

We booked Dale's apartment whilst visiting Calgary mainly for the Stampede and the location was great, just minutes walk from the C-Train and also all the downtown attractions.

Dale was very helpful with plenty of good tips on how to spend your time whilst visiting Calgary.

Perfect location for our trip

We loved the feel and decor of this place. Very well set up and we felt at home there. It is in Chinatown which makes it more exotic feeling with several interesting restaurants and sights we probably wouldn’t have seen without staying nearby. It is great location if you like to walk as it is right across the street from the Bow River walking path. We spent a few hours each day exploring and enjoying Prince’s Island. Dale was enthusiastic and welcoming.

Great location, beautiful apartment.

This apartment is beautiful, it has everything you could want. Dale showed us around, it is so well equipped. The location is perfect for walking into the city and the views over the Bow River make this a special place to stay. We have had a memorable week here.

This is a real home away from home. Dale made us feel so welcome and helped with information about Calgary and suggestions of places to visit.

Condo Is Even better than the picture. The view on the Water is sooo pretty !

Dale did everything for travellers to meeting me to have a drawers with candies chocolate popcorn everything you can actually imagine hahah!

Location is Nice for visiting since its in the heart of the city !

She also gave me tips on what to do while we were staying in Calgary !

Angela (property manager ) was really easy to communicate with , always answering in no time !

Definetly giving a 10 to Chateau Kwong !

I'm a native Calgarian who is willing to give you as much (or as little!) information as you want about this wonderful city!

This condo is ideally located - on the North is the extensive pathway system & Bow River, on the South is Calgary's downtown district with attractions, shopping, museums, live theatre, cinemas, live music, restaurants & bars. Walking distance to Calgary's Top 20 attractions and character districts like Kensington, Eau Claire and Inglewood, easy access to Calgary Transit and the free section of the C-Train, or enjoy the convenience of being in the Car2Go zone.

How might your day start? Rent a bike or walk to East Village for coffee in the historic Simmons Mattress Factory. Check out the boardwalk with names of pioneer women in Calgary's history, then check out the Calgary Zoo which is open 365 days a year. Or go west to Eau Claire for breakfast in the 1886 log home, then enjoy contemporary art galleries or The Glenbow Museum.

For lunch, I highly recommend Q-haute modern French cuisine with a view of the parks and paths of Eau Claire. Two courses are $20 and three is $25. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping or antiquing nearby or rent a car for outlet shopping in Balzac.

Dinner options in Chinatown include Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Indian and Chinese. Chinese restaurants range from noodle shops to hot pot buffet to all-day dim sum and more. I am happy to give you recommendations to new food experiences. Of course, you may also prefer to stay home and cook in the kitchen that has already been stocks with the basics to get you going.

Weekends are bustling as Calgarians flock to Chinatown for dim sum in the neighbourhood. Make a reservation for brunch at Sky 360 in the Calgary Tower and enjoy complimentary elevation.

There are many wonderful day trips close to Calgary, including World Heritage site Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump, the Drumheller Badlands, Banff National Park, world famous hiking & skiing in the Canadian Rockies.
