Monte da Retirada is an isolated property with 2.3ha in the heart of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It is a unique experience in Nature. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, walking around the property, watching a vibrant sunset, a night of starry skies and dazzling moonlight.
The property was designed to provide maximum privacy and each House is a unique experience with personalized decoration, restored antique and vintage pieces. In the bedroom, bedding produced sustainably, with natural materials for a harmonious and peaceful night and soft towels. The kitchen is fully equipped, and also has an oven, Delta capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, blender, electric citrus juicer, barbecue utensils. The living room has a TV with Netflix and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.
Children have not been forgotten and have appropriate dishes, travel cots, bathtubs, table chairs, baby floats and games.
The exterior of the property is prepared for walks, private terraces for barbecue, dining and leisure, a communal surface swimming pool with a diameter of 4.60m and an outdoor shower, sun loungers and parasols, inviting you to "dolce far niente".
For busier days, just a few minutes away, the beaches of Vila Nova de Milfontes, Furnas, Almograve, Zambujeira do Mar, Malhão, Aivados, Pessegueiro, Porto Côvo and S. Torpes, offer both the quieter waters of Rio (Mira), and of Ocean (Atlantic), with excellent waves. There is also the possibility of visiting lagoons and waterfalls, taking mountain biking trails, hiking on the Rota Vicentina, taking surfing lessons, paragliding, canoeing or paddleboarding along the Mira River, windsurfing, horse riding.
The region's cuisine is excellent and the restaurants in the area delight those who enjoy good food with fresh regional products.

Urlaub in absulut ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt. Wie wurden von Jose und seiner Frau sehr freundlich empfangen. Selbst bei unser frühen Abfahrt um 7 Uhr Morgens sind beide aufgestanden. Das Haus ist wie in der Beschreibung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist perfekt wenn man einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen will. Zum Meer sind es 20 Minuten. Im nächsten Ort sind 2 Restaurants die sehr zu empfehlen sind. Alles in Allem war es für uns super. haben uns verabschiedet

Séjour idéal pour détente calme et repos

Logement très agréable, propre et fonctionnel. Terrasse individuelle, petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Au milieu de la nature. Bien situé pour visiter la côte ouest. Côté négatif, les routes en mauvaises états aux abords. Propriétaires très accueillants et sympathiques, toujours à votre disposition avec le sourire, vous conseillent sur les bons restaurants à faire. Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de nos vacances ici.

Fantástico. Os proprietários são de uma simpatia excecional, extremamente acolhedores e sempre disponíveis e preocupados se algo necessitamos. Higienização impecável. Una casa para slow life

Hemos estado muy a gusto en este alojamiento. Ester y Jose son una pareja súper agradable que han hecho nuestra estancia muy cómoda. Nos han prestado mucha ayuda con todo. El alojamiento tenía todas las comodidades: friegaplatos, utensilios de cocina e incluso un pequeño horno. Las estancias son amplias. Hay una terraza donde hacíamos nuestras comidas todos los días y una barbacoa. La piscina es perfecta para niños. Es un lugar silencioso en medio de un arcornocal, cero contaminación acustica y lumínica. Hemos descansado como desde hace tiempo no hacíamos. Las playas están a unos 20- 30 minutos dependiendo de donde quieras ir. Odemira y Milfontes están muy cerca y hay toda clase de restaurantes y supermercados en estos pueblos. Vamos, un sitio que recomendamos mucho
