Gorgeous and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

The beautiful woodwork in this room with bathroom and its own private entrance made it a soothing refuge to relax after a day of exploring the area. The house is so convenient to the beautiful natural surroundings of the Blue Ridge as well as the lively cultural scene in Ashville. Mary kindly provided good coffee, tea, popcorn, and chocolates as special treats. It was handy to have the microwave and mini-fridge. We highly recommend this place for all its qualities, including its good value.

A perfect place in Black Mountain!

  • 5 of 5

The VRBO was perfect. It was really clean and provided everything we needed for our stay in Black Mountain. It was in a perfect location to downtown and to the highway to get to the hikes/waterfalls we wanted to get to. Cold water, orange juice and fresh fruit we’re waiting for us when we arrived! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Black Mountain!

Private and close-in to town of Black Mountain

  • 5 of 5

This is a quiet property in the middle of a small and peaceful neighborhood. Mary was a great hostess and provided a very attractive, clean, and pleasant upstairs space with its own private deck and entrance. She was available to answers questions as they came up. The purpose of my stay was for rest and decompression and I was able to do both. I just wish I had reserved for an extra day. Next time!

My travel and stay

  • 4 of 5

Google Earth is incorrect. It's okay, the picture of the newly remodeled house in the photo on Homeaway site is where I stayed and the address was correct. With a warm welcome, affodable price and more than enough privacy the occommodations where well worth coming back for.

Walk to local, quaint shops in Black Mountain. Local brewery. Wine shop. Wine bar at local flower shop. Talented musicians, 10 minute walk from our place. Restaurants, Que Sera and Oyster bar, among others. Fifteen minutes to Asheville with attractions such as Biltmore House, Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville Tourists Baseball, lots of local breweries and, of course, Highland Brewery. Plenty of hiking, white water rafting, biking and camping, fly fishing, etc.
