After visiting Cornwall many times and staying near, and in, St Ives we decided for October half term we would not go as far down and after visiting Looe a number of times, picked this area to stay. We then found this beautiful cottage on the internet and fell in love with its quirkiness immediately. We were not disappointed and having a car park space made it even more perfect, you would struggle without a car. The weather was horrendous for nearly the full week but we had to make the most of it. We would like to stay here in the summer months to make use of decking and summer house as it had a perfect view and was close, if you have young children, and better weather, to get to the beach. However, we visited lots of places, some further afield so we did do a lot of driving. The area is very peaceful, but steep, so if you are with anyone with mobility problems, the only way to get down to the cottage is via narrow steps, and the bathroom / toilet is downstairs. As for the cottage, it just had everything you could possibly wish for, from dishwasher to washer/dryer, microwave, hairdryer, bedding, towels and lots of kitchen utensils. The décor is done with a seaside theme in mind. Contact with the owners was fantastic and they did everything they could to assist with any queries, both before and after.
