Cape Cod-inspired 3 bedroom Spencer House has been lovingly renovated to provide a tranquil escape for couples, families and dog lovers. Luxurious bed linen, a huge shower, sunny courtyard and tasteful furnishings complement the beachy theme. Yet we are only a few steps away from an excellent array of delicious restaurants, cosy pubs, churches (climb the tower for stunning views), coffee shops, upmarket and quirky boutiques, delis, a variety of country river walks and 2 world class championship golf courses which make up beautiful Sandwich, one of the Cinque ports. Dog-friendly Sandwich bay is only a 5 minute drive for beach-lovers.

Wonderful place and perfect location to restaurants and pubs. Easy access to the train and taxi was always available. Perfect for playing golf at Royal St. George. Town life was great

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Spencer House genossen. Das Ferienhaus hatte alles, was man benötigt, das Parken auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz war kein Problem. Und auch Sandwich und Umgebung haben einiges zu bieten, selbst London ist mit dem Zug gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Englandaufenthalt. Wir werden gerne daran zurückdenken.

Mitten im ältesten Teil von Sandwich gelegen, sehr schön eingerichtet, bequeme Betten und gute Ausstattung. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich, serviceorientiert und haben auf Fragen etc. immer schnell und zuvorkommend geantwortet. Wir können Spencer House guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Perfect base for touring the Kent coastline.

A very comfortable, well equipped property that is extremely well located for exploring the Kent coastline. The road in front of the property is now closed to traffic making it quieter and safer than would otherwise have been the case. Highly recommended.

Tolle Wohnung in toller Stadt

Wir waren 10 Tage in Sandwich und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer freundlich und der Check-in ist problemlos . Das Haus ist genau wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Perfekt ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Stadt Sandwich ist klein, aber es gibt sehr viel zu entdecken.Toller Ausgangspunkt für jede Menge Ausflüge z.B. London, Canterbury usw. Man kann zwar nicht bis vor das Haus fahren, weil die Strasse nicht befahrbar ist, aber mit dem Parkausweis und ein bisschen Geduld findet man immer einen Parkplatz in der Nähe. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wunderschönes Häuschen!

Wir waren eine Woche zu viert mit Hund in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Der Vermieter hat es so liebevoll und komfortabel ausgestattet, dass es uns schwergefallen ist, hier wieder abzureisen. In diesem Haus fehlt es an absolut nichts. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht, bis hin zu Spülmittel, Tabs für die Maschine, Tüten, Alufolie und solche Dinge, die in einem Ferienhaus nicht alltäglich sind. Alles ist wunderschön dekoriert, genau wie auf den Fotos. Der Vermieter wohnt selbst nicht im Ort, hat aber auf unsere Fragen per Mail immer sofort reagiert und das sehr nett. Der Ort ist sehr hübsch und man wird von den Bewohnern nur freundlich behandelt. Die Straße des Hauses ist nicht befahrbar. Aber man bekommt vom Vermieter eine Parkkarte für den nicht weit entfernten Parkplatz. Das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub in diesem wunderschön eingerichteten Haus. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!

House in centre of character town

Sandwich is an amazing old town literally full of ancient properties, small individual shops along with pubs and restaurants. We have explored every street. The house is right in the centre, parking would be inconvenient without the supplied permit. The house itself is pleasant and well equipped even down to good knives, something that is often overlooked The space inside was more than adequate for four adults Enjoyed the outdoor space also

A beautiful house in the beautiful Sandwich

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and tastefully decorated chic house in the heart of Sandwich. The owner, Daniel was a pleasure to speak to. We could want for nothing more. Being a mother of a 6 month old, we were especially impressed with the stair gate that was available, a nice touch. A fantastic location, those staying must try breakfast at the hop and huffkin opposite, highly recommend and their coffee is fab! Overall we would most definitely recommend and consider staying here again. I'm unsure of the owners main occupation but blimey their taste in decor would give the best interior designer a run for their money. Just fab.

Lovely house

Chic, clean and very comfortable house. All the things we hope for in a holiday rental. Sandwich is a lovely old town with good places to eat. Close to Broadstairs for beaches. Daniel was a very helpful host and Christine very nice too!

My wife and I manage this property on behalf of my Father. We love spending time in Sandwich but our work commitments mean we cannot spend as much time as we would like so we have decided to create an income for him.

Why they chose this property

The space
Situated on a very quiet residential pedestrianised road, the cottage comfortably sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a sumptuous superkingsize bed which can be split into 2 singles if required – just state at time of booking. There is also a double bedroom and a single. The beds are extremely comfortable.

The beautiful sun catching and very secluded courtyard, with seating for 5 is overhung with wisteria, jasmine, lavender and roses – a treat for your senses and a lovely spot to unwind after a day at the beach.

Relax in the lounge with large 4K UHD smart TV (Netflix included) and high speed wifi.
