Outstanding weekend stays everything was perfect. My highlights were the sea and mountain view, and beautiful trees. A few miles away lovely sandy beaches and fresh doughnuts. You feel the difference between a cracking break. The host was fantastic. A strong recommendation we would defiantly stay here again.
The positive side - amazing views of the sea.
The negative - the cottage furnishings extremely shabby, sofas and cushions not clean and smelt of dogs...?
Dishwasher broken top tray. Fridge old and not clean
Upstairs blind in single room broken.
Stripped the beds has requested - found the duvets / pillowsto be old and thread bare - also stained!
Outside chairs rickety and did not feel safe to sit on
Extremely disappointed with the accommodation - I felt I had returned back into time with old miss matched furniture - possibly bought from a charity shop!! The standard of accommodation not up to standard!!

Leicht muffiger Geruch in Küche. Musste etwas nachputzen...
Llonydd is a lovely cottage to stay in and explore the southern Snowdonia area. Beautiful cottage and gardens. We loved sitting on the terrace as the sun set over the Llyn peninsula. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.
Stunning location . The balcony at the end of the garden was perfect for relaxing with a wine 🍷.
The double beds headboard was very rickety and wobbled when you moved. We placed pillows behind it to stop it making a noise.
The blue settee was very low and lost its bounce, think a new one is needed. Overall it’s a lovely place and everything there that you require.
We never met Lynda the host but we did meet the two cleaning gentlemen as they were cleaning the other cottage. They were lovely men & we had some fun.
Would recommend & definitely return
Thank you Lynda
Property looks out to the sea and is surrounded by beautiful vistas. Lovely garden for dogs to wonder. Although the area is dog friendly no close easy access walks at location need to drive to local beach (Fairbourne) to let dogs walk/ run freely. As mentioned cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Will to recommend to friends and family.
Spectacular views from cottage on the coastline, within easy access to all the local attractions via the road ....you can easily get lost on the public footpaths in the hills, as they aren't so well maintained or sign posted.
Llonydd cottage is beautifully appointed, clean, cozy and welcoming. We loved the sea view and surrounding countryside. The owner Lynne is extremely friendly and helpful going out of her way to make us welcome. The Martin’s Hereford.
What a lovely lovely cottage, amazing views, great location for walks we all loved it!!!
We had a lovely weekend. It was so good to away after months of lockdown and Lynne's cottage was the perfect place! Couldn't recommend it enough. The views are amazing and the cottage is just lovely with everything you need.
This cottage is fantastic and with views to die for. Lynne was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was easy to get to and it felt very homely straight away. Had a lovely nice break, with lots of walking in the mornings and relaxing in the afternoons after a spot of lunch in the garden overlooking the Llŷn Peninsula. Would definitely stay here again.
A lovely house with plenty of character that overlooks the sea. The stars at night were breathtaking - I've never seen them so clearly. The property had everything required for us to enjoy our short visit and was clean and cosy.

Thank you Racheal for your review and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay, Lynne
Wonderful spot with gorgeous views. So nice to have the garden and decked area to sit and have dinner or drinks and enjoy the sunsets. The house is very comfortable - dishwasher and fridge a bit dilapidated, only half a roll of toilet paper felt a bit mean, but didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the place.
Warm and cosy, everything you needed. Miles from anywhere of any size (great!!), so had to plan shopping for meals etc. The Cambrian single track coast line runs at the bottom of the garden (2 carriages only) every 2 hours during the week and you can hop on and off as you please all the way to Phwelli and back...just like the "Railway Children".....unexpected bonus. Would definitely return. Easy-5 stars.

I fell in love with Llonyyd cottage and this part of the welsh coast around 10 years ago and when the chance came to buy it and make it mine, i jumped at it. Having walked and climbed much of north wales and having always had a desire to be by the sea, owning a small part of it seemed a dream come true and a natural next step. Here at Llonydd, I love listening to the sound of sea with the sense of peace and relaxation that brings and then having the mountains and countryside around me to walk and explore. The scenery in this part of Wales is simply stunning and it takes my breath away everytime I see it. I want my guests to feel the same; to gaze into the distance, be swept away by the sound of the waves, listen to the birdsong, spot the varies wildife and marvel at every sunset, of which there are hundreds. Every moment at Llonydd is treasured and memories created which are shared with friends, family and our many return visitors.
Why they chose this property
