We used this apartment to stay and host Christmas for our family those in a smaller house in Dundee and those of us who came up from London.The property was in a great location and had all we needed to host, the property was as good as any we have tented

Everything on doorstep. Lovely town, lovely beach, plenty bars, restaurants, coffee shops. Excellent place for a weekend away or base for exploring area. Flat nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

Enjoyable

Amazing location in a wonderful neighborhood. Just a walk to the most beautiful beach. The people in the town are amazing, walking down the road into town is a must. The house was cozy and fit everyone the kitchen was filled with everyone we could need, not a thing missing. We all enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment in a nice location

The apartment was very nice — spacious, comfortable, and clean. The two levels worked well for our three-generation group, and the location was really nice for its access to town. One of us just had knee surgery and that made the climb to the apartment a little difficult; other than that, things were perfect.

Golf getaway to Carnoustie

The property was just as stated in the ad. We had four guys coming for a golf getaway for 10 days and wanted somewhere we could unwind and just be "at home" after a day on the links. We couldn't have asked for more. The kitchen with full size fridge and everything we needed to cook meals was at our fingertips. The 4 bedrooms gave us the space we needed to unwind and the living room with plenty of seating and a beautiful 75" TV helped complete the night with a movie. The grocery store is a block down the street and for the nights we wanted to just go for a pint and eat our we had a bunch of places well within walking distance. Can't say enough about the host and the property. Would recommend with a 5 star rating all day long.

Great short break in a lovely home

Lovely property in a great location - local restaurants, cafes and bars are a short walk away as is the train station if you want to venture a little further away. The house is furnished to a high standard, was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the owner made sure we had all of the info we needed to operate everything, as well as some very handy tips on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely stay again!

Brilliant, well equipped flat

Just home from a long weekend at Claymore. It was perfected located for our break, close to the shops and beach, and equipped with everything we needed. The extras such as "Alexas" and the giant smart TV were fab too. The beds were super comfy and the keyless entry was great in that we didn't have to worry about the keys. Beautiful wee garden too that kept the kids happy. Would thoroughly recommend

2nd time stay.

This was our second stay at the Claymore Apartment and that speaks for itself. Every room is spacious and comfortable. The fixtures, appliances, crockery, glassware is all above average. And for anyone who isn't familiar with the area, it is a great base for golf, shopping, history, country walks etc, etc. And Broughty Ferry is special!!!

Lovely clean apartment.

We booked the apartment for a reunion of sixty something ladies who had been at university together. The apartment was perfect for our needs right in the heart of Broughty Ferry. It was spotless and well equipped.

Excellent, roomy, modernized, well-appointed flat suitable for groups/large family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. We booked at the last minute to attend to family business and weren't sure how many others would be joining us. In the end we only used 3 bedrooms, but entertained up to 9 people for dinners and evening get togethers. We had everything we needed. All, of the modern appliances, heating, showers, internet etc worked flawlessly. The "Ferry" has everything you need within walking distance and there are so many other destinations within an hour or two drive or easily accessible by public transport... Carnoustie, St. Andrew's, Edinburgh, Fife coast, Cairngorms etc. And, nearby Dundee has made so many improvements over the years, you can easily enjoy several days visiting the Discovery Center, the just opened V&A and more. If time permits, I'd also recommend Stirling Castle/Bannockburn, Black Watch Museum in Perth, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis, hillwalk/hiking near Glen Clova followed by an excellent meal in the hotel. With so much to do nearby, you'll really appreciate this spacious accommodation to relax in at the end of the day. The only minor drawback, especially if carrying golf clubs, is the two floor spiral staircase leading to the entryway. All in all, I would highly recommend this property.
