Nuestra casa de vacaciones de 2 dormitorios se encuentra en Freshwater Bay Holiday Village, en la pintoresca costa de Pembrokeshire, a pocos pasos de la hermosa playa de Freshwater East.

Nuestra casa está abierta en planta baja con sala de estar, cocina y comedor bien equipados para 4 personas y donde encontrará todo lo que necesita para unas vacaciones cómodas en casa. Arriba encontrará una habitación doble, habitación doble y un cuarto de baño con calentadores montados en la pared.

Freshwater East Beach está a no más de 2 minutos a pie, donde podrá tomar sus sillas de playa durante el día y disfrutar de la hermosa playa de arena y aguas cristalinas. Hay baños públicos disponibles en la playa.

A no más de un tiro de piedra, encontrará el bar y restaurante Longhouse, que regularmente celebra varios eventos durante todo el año. Un paseo de veinte minutos lo llevará al Freshwater Inn, que tiene un hermoso jardín con vista a la bahía Freshwater East.

El sendero costero de Pembrokeshire pasa directamente por el pueblo de vacaciones de Freshwater Bay y puede llevarlo en cualquier dirección por algunos hermosos paseos por el campo con un paisaje increíble.

Tenby y Saunderfoot se encuentran a 25 minutos en coche, donde encontrará muchas actividades disponibles en ambas ciudades. La hermosa playa de Barafundle, los estanques de nenúfares de Stackpole y el castillo de Pembroke se encuentran a poca distancia en coche.

El Coastal Cruiser Bus se detiene en Freshwater East varias veces al día, recogiendo y bajando a lo largo de la ruta entre la ciudad de Pembroke y Tenby.

Long weekend

Perfect for walking. And on the beach no need to use the car. The property has everything you need. Communication with owner was very good. Cant fault anything.

Freshwater East Beach

Great location, the holiday home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host was very contactable and friendly. The on site restaurant ‘Jack at the longhouse’ has great food. The sandy beach was great with toilets available and only a 3 to 4 min walk from the front door. All in all a great and enjoyable stay.

Lovely chalet close to the beach

The chalet is lovely, wonderful location and had everything we needed. Super close to the beach and we had a tasty meal at the Longhouse restaurant. Ceri is a fab host; she made everything so easy and got out holiday off to a fantastic start!

Difficult to fault!

Very clean, well equipped, convenient and pleasantly sited just a short walk from a lovely beach. Pity there's no shop on-site and the bar restaurant wasn't ready to offer all day catering.

Brilliant

We booked this chalet for our family summer holiday. It has everything we needed, and was nicer than it looked on the photos. Its in a brilliant location next to a beautiful beach and in easy access of other places of interest in pembrokeshire. We wished we could have stayed longer! Ceri has been really helpful answering my questions and checking everything was ok. Thank you!

A good property in a quiet area

We were happy with the property as a whole. It was small (as described) but adequately furnished. Overall cleanliness was good. A couple of small niggles on that front (otherwise we would have said excellent), firstly that the mattress covers on the beds appeared stained (we had brought our own sheets as required), and also that some of the crockery in the cupboards was not properly cleaned (presumably the responsibility of the previous occupants, but suggest the owner/cleaner should check). No coffee maker or cafetiere (and not even a strainer/small sieve) made it impossible to make real coffee, but otherwise everything was there that we needed. Lack of any real outside space to ourselves was a drawback for the children - their only possibility was to play ball games on the car park at the front of the property. The Longhouse bar/restaurant (advertised as having a restaurant and small shop) was no longer trading for food (just drinks) and there was no shop (due to previous occupants having gone bust, we heard) which was a drawback given the remote location (nearest shop was a drive away). Suggest the owners post up to date information about the facilities on site. That said, we had an enjoyable week and the proximity to the nice beach was a real plus. Ceri was very helpful in responding to our questions before arrival.

Stay at holiday home

A clean, well maintained and furnished property very near the beach. Car parking right outside. The property is well equipped and the only item we had to go out and buy was an oven glove. All the comforts of home except a freezer and a dishwashers!

Good Hideaway

Very well equiped property with everything you would need for your stay. Super location ...we were just unfortunate to have rain most of the time and not able to relax on the nearby beach. Ate out a couple of nights and would recommend the Stackpole Inn but booking is essential in the current covid climate.

Short Stay at Freshwater East

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Andrew and Ceri's property at the Trewent Holiday Park and can recommend it as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire. The chalet was as described and had everything we needed .It is close to the front of the site and has a parking space at the door. The beautiful beach and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path are only a 2 minute walk away. The owners Andrew and Ceri are very helpful, and any query was answered promptly. The McColl's convenience store on Upper Lamphey Road on the outskirts of Pembroke is a 10 minute drive away for groceries and newspapers etc., and the Tesco and Aldi stores at Pembroke Dock are only a few more minutes away for bigger shopping needs.. Lovely property in a fantastic spot!

Enjoyed a fantastic 3 night break at this property so clean and very cosy it had everything you needed for your holiday. A quick walk takes you to the fab beach at Freshwater East and wonderful views on the cliff top walks. Would definitely return thank you Ceri and Andrew for letting us share you fab house!

Lovely little place and so close to loads of nice places to visit.

Loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. They owners were really helpful and gave us lots of information about the area and any questions we had they did their best to answer them for us.

Superb short break!

I booked a short break over the Easter holidays for myself and my son and we were not disappointed. The chalet was clean and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was well equipped as we did all of our meal prep and ate at the chalet for dinner each night. Lovely spot with Freshwater East a stones throw away! We were able to use the beach chairs so we took them down one evening. The owners couldn't do enough for us and were very kind when I couldnt get the shower working but we soon realised my son had switched the water off not on! We wouldn't hesitate to go back. We had a fantastic trip, it was great to see the coastline which is truly breathtaking and we were in a great location. Hopefully we will be back again!

Excellent accommodation in a lovely location

Instant reply to my booking request. Owners very helpful with my queries, sending me links for eating places and bus services. Accommodation modern, clean, in very good condition and well equipped. In an ideal place for the onsite clubhouse and beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and hope to return in the future.

Perfect for the beach

This property is situated on Freshwater Holiday Village on the back of the Freshwater East Beach. It is quite near the front of the Village so a short walk to the beach. Beautifully clean, definitely a 'home from home' with everything you could possibly need for your stay, including the use of beach chairs and windbreak! Very comfy bed and nice shower. Couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to going again next year!

Lovely Little Holiday Chalet in Great Location

We had a lovely stay in Freshwater East. The chalet was cosy & catered to our every need as a family of four (travelling with a 6 and 2 year old). The beautiful beach of Freshwater East was a stones throw away and we was perfect for sandy play, sea swims and rock pooling. We found loads of crabs which was pure delight for the children. The chalet served as a great basis for our travels to Heatherton, Folly Farm and Tenby also. Our every need was catered for by the very well equipped kitchen cupboards. The beds were comfy and a great shower. It was also clear that extra hygiene measures were in place on account of Covid-19, but these were subtle and meant we could relax in the knowledge that we were safe in the chalet. Our only tip would be to plan day trips & meals out ahead. Anywhere that requires booking seems to be quite hard to get into currently because of reduced capacities. We were lucky to have pre-booked Folly Farm, but didn’t manage a single meal out as all local pubs seemed to be booked up. We did order a delicious Indian take-away meal from Seven Spices (Pembroke Dock) on the recommendation of an earlier review. Gorgeous food, but again order in advance as delivery took 2 hours. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Andrew & Ceri’s holiday home again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a fantastic staycation we had at this lovely chalet

We have just had two weeks in August 2020 in this chalet - it was as lovely as the pictures. A stone’s throw away from the beautiful beach of Freshwater East and next to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We were blessed we great weather. We are from the London area and whilst our home was basking in super hot temperatures of over 30 degrees we enjoyed an average of about 22 degrees everyday in Pembrokeshire which was perfect - not too hot and not too cold - swam in the sea most days - we paddle boarded and kayaked at various local beaches, had a few bbqs on Freshwater East beach, had some lovely meals at Stackpole Inn (we walked it took about an hour each way), the Jolly Sailor the other side if the Cleddau in Burton and at the lovely cafe at West Angle Bay and had deliveries to the chalet from The Seven Spices (Pembroke Dock) - Indian; and Golden Park (Chinese In Pembroke) - all yum! The chalet was very clean. Well thought out. Well equipped. The internet was excellent and we were able to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime on the smart TV. The washing machine worked well. The shower was superb - always hot water! We could not have wanted for anything else - thank you so much for a fabulous stay!
