Built with all the details of comfort in mind. The home boasts an open floor plan with oversized living room & dining room spilling into a modern kitchen. Jumbo sectional & 65” TV for large groups (Wii w/games).
Large dining table seats 6, in additional to 8 high end barstool built-ins around the kitchen. Dining area also has built in shelving with board games, video library, & books.
The beautiful kitchen is equipped with granite countertops & modern stainless steel appliances, pots & pans (including other cooking essentials), basic spices & condiments. Coffee bar includes a 12 cup coffee maker & Keurig.
NEW BOAT DOCK BUILT IN 2021.
Master bedroom overlooking the lake has king bed & luxurious bathroom with double sinks & oversized shower including a rain shower head.
King bed in guest retreat also overlooks the scenic lake views.
Bunkroom with 2 bunk beds sleeps 4 (also has lake view). Guest retreat & bunk room separated by full size bathroom with shower/tub combo. (Sleeps 8 total in beds but 10 if using living room. Large living room sectional is 2 oversized couches. Extra sheets and blankets in closets to accommodate sleeping)
A half bathroom comes off the living room and incorporates a full sized washer & dryer (laundry soap provided).
Enjoy morning coffee or dine on the covered porch, patio, or by the lake. Outdoor seating for 10. Grill provided for use by guests off the concrete patio.
Kayak up & down the cove (2 single kayaks, 1 junior kayak...please bring vests, which are required for watercraft) or play a game of horseshoes at the horseshoe pit. There are large steps to walk right into the lake for swimming directly off the property.

This is a lake home you won't want to leave. It's in a peaceful wooded community & excellent for families. It's easy to just relax & soak up the beauty of nature.
Additionally, Cedar Creek Lake is in close proximity to Canton. After a shopping weekend at Canton Trade Days, retreat to the home for a night of pampering by the lake to refresh.
Also, close to the conveniences of the towns of Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Seven Points, & Kemp. Great independent stores & restaurants as well as a Brookshires grocery store, Walmart Supercenter, Movie Theater, family entertainment venue (go-karts, mini-golf, etc), as well as multiple places to rent boats or jet skis. We will do our best to offer any suggestions to accommodate you on your stay.

This is our second time to stay at this property and is one of our favorites. Very spacious, clean and has anything you need to make a fantastic stay! The lake is really low but we still managed to catch some good sized catfish.

The house and dock were very nice. It is located on an inlet so it is quiet and there were ducks and egrets every day. We fished off the dock even though the water was low. We caught small catfish and 2 small bass. The house is well stocked and laid out well.

The first thing we noticed was the quiet. No road noise or loud sounds from any direction. The house is the best we've encountered for a family gathering, with the huge kitchen wrapped with a giant counter and built in bar stools, the huge sectional sofa, porch furniture and a very nice dock. Everything was clean, well maintained and stocked, as well as charming furnishings. Also, the neighborhood had a very safe feel to it. The host was the most responsive we have encountered in any VRBO stay before. We will definitely be back.

We loved our time at this charming lakehouse! The home was neat, clean & comfortable (especially the beds & sofa!). We chose this property, because it's a newer home. We love the open floor plan. We love the quiet cove. We love that the location is convenient but just far enough to not be in the thick of town. It's a lovely place!
