Great weekend getaway!

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach and we’re thrilled this condo was available. Great location and water views! Comfortably slept the five of us and we loved watching all the dolphins swim by!

The living space was very comfortable and we enjoyed gathering to enjoy the breathtaking views. Sunsets were are favorite time of day to enjoy the lanai right off the kitehen. With an elderly mother and a special-needs daughter, the distance to the beach and the convenience of the pool made accessing these amenities simple.

Wonderful vacation

The condo was great. It had a lot of room for my whole family and was very clean. The view was beautiful. It is very close to the pool and beach. Within walking distance to the Salty Dog Café. Only suggestion would be to add pillow tops to all the beds. Otherwise it was great stay.

Great location

Location is great. Have stayed many times in the complex but 1st in this condo. Condo could use some updated decor/ furniture, but gets the job done. Walls could use fresh paint. No odors. Price was a little high but we were booking last minute. Company was very easy to deal with and responded quickly.

Nice condo, great location

The condo itself was nice, a little outdated, but usable. Master bed was comfortable, but others weren't so much. The location was great, walking distance to South Beach Marina, and the beach was not at all crowded during a very busy week. Parking was a bit of an issue. Even though we had 3 parking passes, and only took 2 cars, we still had to use overflow parking a couple times. If guests were allowed to park in the garage, that would be helpful. It was pretty much empty.

Great property

We’ve been to HHI several times and this was our favorite rental. It was recently renovated, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. The only downside was that one of the beds (in the 2nd bedroom) was broken before we arrived. We notified the rental company immediately and they were quick to return our call, however our daughter had to sleep on a slanted bed the entire week. She didn’t complain, though, so neither did we. The condo was well appointed and immaculate. One thing to note is that there was no hair dryer, so we had to make a run to Walmart our first day, but not a big deal. The beach was beautiful and the inlet water was very calm. We saw a ton of dolphins every day, which was a highlight of the trip. Overall it was a great stay!

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding between the two of us. You called us at 7:45PM on a Sunday on a Holiday weekend and I could not get a company out to professionally clean the air vents, so I offered to send housekeeping to clean the surfaces with a bleach solution in the meantime until I could get someone there on Tuesday. All of the vents have now been professionally cleaned and are in pristine condition.

We were very surprised and excited at how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils, pans, corning ware, etc. - all of things we need to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner for the 4 of us. The views from this condo were excellent. We saw so many dolphins throughout our stay, at all different times of the day. Sitting on the patio, drinking my coffee, listening to the soft ripple of the Sound was so peaceful and relaxing. The condo was clean and was nicely furnished. I feel like the mattresses and bedding could use a little updating, but they were clean with no issues. Beach and pool access was simple and easy. We had killer views of the sunset. This condo was everything we hoped it would be. It was lovely for a girls getaway!

Reviewer Comments: We love this location and have stayed on the property before in another lovely condo. I don't like to complain, but here are a few of the things we found on this property. We found the remote inside a cushion in the recliners. The vents were very dirty. The ice maker was broken and made a lot of noise. There was hair in the bathroom sinks and floors. There was food crumbs under the furniture. They did come out and fix the broken dryer, but left the lint on the floor. The location is great, but I wouldn't stay in this condo again.

Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a great location and the building is well kept. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit itself is in desperate need of update. There is carpet in the 1/2 bath and it smells of urine. The carpet in the living area is very stained and dirty. The ceilings are in atrocious shape, signs of water damage and smoke or mold. The unit was basically cleaned but needs a deep clean. The beds were ok but could use mattress pads or some sort of softening and honestly would be more visually appealing with a bed skirt or something over the box spring part. I do think the unit is overpriced for the condition it is in, but it was ok for our short stay. The front door lock needs to be replaced or repaired, it is not in proper working condition. The windows need a good cleaning because nothing should distract from that view. I would recommend the location to a friend but not this specific rental.

South Beach Club Stay

The location is perfect! The Sound is beautiful and filled with wildlife that is exciting to observe. The sunsets are gorgeous! The condo is within walking to the Salty Dog Café and tennis courts. The condo could use a few upgrades. The carpet has some permanent stains and the furniture is old and outdated. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of seating for everyone. The pool was not open due to construction and unfortunately the rental agency did not tell us this ahead of time.
