This high quality detached cottage occupies a wonderful location 7 miles from the town of Portree and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

Burnside Cottage is a tremendous single storey holiday let positioned in the crofting township of Kensaleyre, near to the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye. Playing host to three bedrooms; a single, a master double room with en-suite shower and a twin with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom off of a long corridor, the cottage can sleep five people. Inside is also an open-plan living room made up of a kitchen/breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with woodburner, as well as a utility. To the exterior is ample off-road parking and a patio area with furniture. Overlooking the beautiful Loch Eyre, Burnside Cottage is a wonderful retreat to base your holiday in Scotland. Please Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Freeview TV, DVD player, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVD's. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. Private garden with patio. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 7 miles. Note: Property only accepts up to a maximum of 5 people.
Note: Though electricity is included in the rent, electric for charging cars is not included in the rental.
Note: Short breaks accepted arriving either Friday or Monday. Other days may be possible by prior arrangement only.

Beautiful and Modern House on Trotternish

Very modern, comfortable home, fantastic view, kitchen, two bathrooms. Washer and dryer such a lucury. Great location. Listing gives direction to Riverside Cottsge, a twin, sharing same driveway. They should change to Burnside name at bottom of directions as we were puzzled, not knowing there was a second cottage. Could have used outdoor chairs to soak in the sun as we lucked out with days of warm and sunny weather. Only an outdoor picnic table exists. Very clean, welcoming flowers a nice surprise. Highly recommend.
