Casa Santa Barbara is beautiful, detached 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with heated pool (pool heating extra) located in Vale de Milho and only 300 meters from the golf course and clubhouse. The villa offers its guests complete privacy in a relaxing environment.



Guests can enjoy swimming in the heated pool, grilling on the barbecue and a game of table tennis. There is a spacious driveway with plenty of parking space. Furthermore there is a roof terrace with splendid views of the area and Ocean on the horizon.



The villa is fully air-conditioned, has free wi-fi and an internet based TV service with UK channels. A cot and high chair are available on request.



Centeanes beach is just a 15 minute walk away. It's a sheltered bay bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. Boat trips around the caves and grottos leave daily from the beach and it offers various other activities such as pedalo hire, kayak hire and more. Carvoeiro town centre and its many shops, bars and restaurants is just 2.5km away. Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town which hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.



The accommodation comprises of entrance hall, open plan living/dining area with patio doors which open onto the main pool terrace. Kitchen equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suite bathrooms. Of the 2 en-suite bedrooms, 1 has a double bed and the other is a twin room. A third bathroom services the second double bedroom.



Guests will have the sole use of the villa, garden and pool.



Inside the house is an information book with emergency contact numbers and useful information about the house and the local area. Guests are also provided with a 24h contact number so they can contact the property manager in the event of a problem or with regards to any questions pertaining to the house.



Buses are available for those looking to travel further afield. Local taxi firm numbers are provided in the house information book.



Tourist tax

Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.
