About this property

Villa Bento, Ferragudo

Outside: The garden has a children's play area with a basketball hoop, swimming pool, sun loungers, and a barbecue with space for a pleasant exterieur dining. Ping-Pong table available per request.

Inside: On the ground floor, there are two leisure rooms, a dining room, a panoramic fireplace in one of the living rooms. A large kitchen and a bedroom en suite. On the upper floor there are 2 twin bedrooms that share a bathroom and a double bedroom with bathroom. There is also a small terrace with sea views.

For rentals of 2 weeks or more, full cleaning will be done with a change of bed linen and towels in the middle of the stay (dates to be arranged). For rentals of less than 2 weeks, full cleaning will be carried out at the end of the stay.

Swimming pool heating is available, for a fee to be confirmed (if you decide to have pool heating, this must be advised a couple of days prior to your arrival ), fee to be paid locally

A tourist tax is charged for accommodation (council tax)

Great stay

Lovely spacious villa in a peaceful urbanisation. We enjoyed playing table tennis and relaxing around the pool area or on the various balconies. Lots of beautiful beaches and restaurants close by, some of which are walking distance or a couple of minutes in the car. The village is a short drive. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Thank you

The villa was lovely and clean. It was quite spacious and had ample room for 3 couples to have some space. The pool was an appreciated asset. We enjoyed it very much. We did pay an extra 160 euros to have it heated. We were unaware of any cleaning of the pool during the week we were there.

Great private location to stay with amazing pool area!

The house is very comfortable, the owners are very kind, the pool area is amazing very private with great sunset views. Nice BBQ area for grilling. Two driveways for multiple cars.. a car is recommended since it is a bit of a drive to most places but you have everything you need a short drive away! I would def stay here again

Friendly neighbourhood and amazing property

The villa was beautiful and very spacious. It is even better than expected, all utensils and households items provided was a bonus. The BBQ near the outdoor pool was a great feature too. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anybody. Thanks again!

Excellent house for a big family. There is everything,you need. The surroundings are perfect, when you love swimming and nature. WithIn walking distance to a nice little town. You’ll need a car for trips further away since there’s no public transport.

A lovely family holiday

We travelled with our adult children. There were six of us in the villa which had four large bedrooms and three bathrooms. The host was very helpful before and during our trip. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade but were all fully functional - just a bit dated. The outside space was amazing. Plenty of room for football for the boys, or to find a quiet spot to read a book. Some fixed shade would be a real addition as at times there was full sun (30 degrees) around the pool. There were parasols which did help. We didn’t have a car but the Ubers were amazing so we walked into the town and got an Uber back! Would definitely recommend a boat trip with Ferragudo Emotions. Lovely beaches within walking distance and good choice of restaurants too. Thank you for a lovely holiday venue.

Spacious villa

Villa Bento is a lovely spacious villa around a 25 minute walk from Ferragudo centre. Beautiful beaches are only 10 minute walk away. There is a lovely pool but very little shade from about 10am to sunset so in August it was far too hot to really enjoy any lengthy time around the pool. There is a great upstairs terrace with fabulous views but no outdoor furniture available out there. A car is highly recommended, nearest supermarket is a drive away. Overall a lovely villa but would be much enhanced with some additional shade around the pool and additional outdoor furniture.

Pent hus med gode fasiliteter og svømmebasseng. Stille og rolig område. Feilinformasjon om avstand til Portemao; 10 min walk, men skulle være ca 10 min kjøring. Det gjorde at vi måtte bruke drosje hver gang vi skulle handle.

Schönes Haus in guter Lage

Plus: Tolles Haus in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel mit kurzen Wegen zu den Stränden. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit großem Pool, schönem gepflegten Garten und verfügt über eine Dachterrasse mit traumhaften Blick zum Meer und mehreren Balkons. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Vorbereitung auf den Urlaub per E-Mail durch die Eigentümer war sehr ausführlich und einladend, aber in Englisch. Minus: Die Bäder sind leider in die Jahre gekommen und könnten saniert werden. Sie entsprechen nicht mehr dem sehr guten Eindruck des Hauses. Die Dachterrasse und die Balkons waren leider nicht nutzbar, da keine Möblierung. Fazit: Wir können das Haus empfehlen und kommen sicher auch wieder.

De belles vacances dans une belle région.

Nous avons passés un joli séjour dans cette maison à Ferragudo. Emplacement calme, malgré la multitude de maisons et appartement, quartier résidentiel mais peu de vacanciers en cette période du mois de juillet. Maison fonctionnelle avec assez de place, manque juste une vraie zone d’ombre près de la piscine. Le village est très sympa, vous pouvez y aller à pied mais il faut penser au retour 20 min mais les plages ne sont qu’à 10 min à pieds. Un vrai plus pour ne prendre la voiture et avoir du mal à se garer. Je conseille cette maison à une famille , couple d’amis et enfants. Nous reviendrons dans la région c’est sûr.

Rolling Loud, schöne Strände und Erinnerungen

Ich bin mit einer Gruppe von insgesamt 8 Personen angereist. Hauptgrund für die Reise war das Rolling Loud 2022 in Portimao an der Praia da Rocha. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Viel Zeit am Pool verbracht. Empfehlen kann ich unter anderem die Strände Praia dos Caneiros und direkt daneben die Praia do Torrado ( Zugang über Praia dos Caneiros). Das ist der schönste Strand an dem ich jemals war und ich hab schon viele gesehen ( Marokko, Ägypten, Türkei, etc. ). Insgesamt ist Ferragudo sehr ruhig, da es den Charme eines Fischerdorfs hat. In Portimao selbst ist dann schon mehr los. Am besten man besorgt sich vorher noch ein Mietwagen, da der nächste Lidl schon ein Stück entfernt ist.

Beautiful Villa

We had a lovely holiday at Casa Bento. The villa is located in a quiet area, is spacious and well equipped. The pool area is clean and of a good size. We especially enjoyed the sunsets in the evening and walks along the cliff tops which led to nearby beaches. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance although the closest shops were a short drive. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with and resolved quickly by the Villa owners. We were disappointed to find there were only a couple of English TV channels (Sky News and Greyhound Racing) however our children got around this as they had their iPads and were able to watch TV programmes using the Wi-Fi. We would recommend hiring a car as there is lots to explore in the surrounding area. Many thanks to the owners and the kids especially enjoyed the oranges that were left for us on our arrival.

En fantastisk villa med ett underbart poolutrymme. Underbart för den stora familjen.

Ett prisvärt boende för den stora familjen. Välutrustat kök där ingenting saknades. Speciellt plus för disk o tvättmaskin. Poolområdet är fräscht och välhållet precis som resten av huset. En vänlig fastighetsförvaltare som välkomnade med en stor skål med nyplockade apelsiner från sin egen odling. På den vägen kändes det. Vänligt och behagligt. Vi är oerhört nöjda och återvänder gärna!!!

Sehr schön.

Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in der Villa Bento. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und hat viele Terrassen und Balkone. Von der Dachterrasse aus sieht man das Meer und kann einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und 1 x wöchentlich wird das Haus geputzt und die Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.

Amazing!

We stayed there for a week and we really loved it! The House is located in a calm area of Ferragudo and its about 5 mins by walk to a wonderful small bay with a really good restaurant. We can recommend the house to everyone , since it Looks really much better in reality than on the Pictures.

Wir haben mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, 3 jugendliche Kinder) sehr entspannte Ferien in der Villa Bento verbracht. Das Haus liegt in einer Wohngegend in Fussdistanz zum Strand und bietet genügend Raum für grössere und kleinere Spiel- und Essensrunden. Es wirkt sehr gepflegt und der Besitzer ist persönlich, aber diskret um das Wohlergehen der Gäste bemüht. In der Umgebung (Autodistanz, ÖV beschränkt) liegen weitere schöne Strände und Städte (Silves, Lagos), die es zu besuchen lohnt. Ruth F., Zürich/Schweiz
