For rent a very nice individual and private villa, near Vila do Maio.
Casa lemone overlooks the cliff of Punta Preta on the island of Maio, with an extraordinary view of the Atlantic Ocean. You will have the pleasure of admiring dolphins and whales in season.
Its exposure and its privileged position will preserve your privacy.
It has 2 large double bedrooms, each with their own shower room and wc, overlooking a beautiful central patio.
A large, fully-equipped kitchen and a living room can be easily closed off by large picture windows, leading onto a large and spacious terrace with spectacular ocean views.
Share meals on a table for 6 people. To relax, a spacious summer lounge with 2 large sunbathings and a second terrace overlooking the cliff.
A laundry room, a guest toilet and a garage complete Casa lemone.
The villa is ideally located near the village of Vila Do Maio, everything is within walking distance, the beaches, shops and restaurants.
Cradled by the waves, the comings and goings of the fishing boats, the calm and the sweetness of this island is guaranteed resourcing.
Do not hesitate to go back to basics.
Everything will be done to make your stay a wonderful memory of this island of Maio, thanks to the kindness of its inhabitants and the attentions of Daniele e Ivania .

Paradise!

Gorgeous house, patio, pool, views of the ocean. Perfect location to explore the town and beaches. Patricia and her husband were very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved our stay!

A little piece of paradise

We ended our Cape Verde island hopping trip on the amazing island Maio. After a few active weeks, we wanted to end our holiday with a very relaxing few days and Patricia's holiday house was everything we wished for. Patricia is very friendly and super helpful. She knows the island so well and she even arranged a taxi for us from and to the airport. The house is very spacious and there are a lot of places to relax and hang out and have a good time. The pool is amazing and you really don't even need to leave the property in order to have a good time, but in case you want to, there is a wonderful beach very close by with (almost) no one else. Would highly recommend this stay!

Casa Lemon is an incredible gem of a place on an untouched and magical island!

If you are looking for somewhere to completely disconnect this is THE place ! Casa Lemon is a very special villa managed by very special people. Care and thought has been taken in every detail - from the outside terraces to the bedroom decoration. Maio is a magical island that amazingly seems still untouched by modern day tourism. We spent two weeks with a mix of lying by the pool and exploring the island - this island is for the adventurous though and those who like finding their own way. We personally took three flights to get there - as there is a weekly flight or boat from the main island Praia that takes 15minutes. Patricia was very helpful in giving us help on booking this though and so nothing was an issue. There was also a lovely housekeeper who looked after us and offered home cooked meals delivered to the terrace if requested. The villa was clean and inviting, there are some bugs at night so I would come prepared with mosquito spray :) you will have trouble finding it on the island - and I would say come prepared with essentials as the beauty of Maio is it is limited for tourist shops and big shopping centres! When we stayed the internet had some issues and we didn't find it to be 500mpbs but hopefully you go for a holiday and not to look at emails :). Patricia was very helpful also in trying to get it fixed. We also got confused in the listing that the pool was private just for casa lemon - but it is shared between another villa that Patricia hosts also. This also was not a problem though as the pool area is large enough to share and you won't be disappointed by the view ! Honestly this is a gem of a find, we feel very luck to have stayed and discovered also the magic of Maio. It is worth the journey and we will be back!

Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer und fantastischer Pool. Mini Mercado um die Ecke, zum Strand und ins Ortszentrum ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß.Die Besitzer haben uns mit den Fährtickets geholfen und auch sonst war die Kommunikation super. Ivania hat für uns abends gekocht, nochmal herzlichen Dank dafür! Daniele war ebenfalls immer ansprechbar. Die Tour über die Insel mit ihm war beeindruckend. Das Haus selber ist mindestens so schön wie auf den Fotos mit einem tollen Blick auf den Atlantik.

Villa Lemon wie im Paradies

Wir waren leider nur 20 Tage in dieser wunderbaren Villa. Die Wirklichkeit ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern zu sehen. Aus dem Pool möchte man garnicht mehr raus. Herausragend die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber. Alle wünsche wurden erfüllt, teils sogar bevor sie geäußert wurden (Abholung am Hafen) Wir kommen gern wieder, vielleicht schon im September,?

Superbe villa avec vue exceptionnelle

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette propriété très bien équipée et décorée. La vue est tout simplement magnifique, le cadre est sublime. Les propriétaires sont très sympas et les habitants de l’ile de Maio sont très gentils. La dame qui s’occupe des repas cuisine très bien… Lieu d’exception sans aucun doute, nous reviendrons :)

Es hat alles gestimmt: Der sehr nette Vermieter war stets erreichbar und hat für mich sogar ein Ticket für die Fähre nach Maio besorgt! Das Casa Lemon steht direkt am Meer auf einer kleinen Anhöhe - das Rauschen des Meeres war stets präsent mit Blick Richtung Süden. Toll. Alles war sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die Verwalterin -so nenne ich die bezaubernde Helena mal- war jeden Morgen erreichbar, da sie den Pool reinigt. Sie hat z.B. meine Wäsche gewaschen. Sehr ruhig wie der gesamte Ort und die Insel selbst, die ich nach zwei Wochen Aufenthalt in mein Herz geschlossen habe. Freundliche Menschen sowie sehr sicher nach meinem Empfinden (typisch Cabo Verde). Es gibt mehrere Minimärkte und Tavernen in der Nähe; es fehlt an nichts. Maio ist wunderschön mit kilometerlangen einsamen Stränden und sehr wenig Touristen - genau was ich gesucht habe. Hoffentlich bleibt die Insel so wie sie ist. Ich komme nächstes Jahr wieder, wenn ich eine so gute Unterkunft wie diese finde ;-)

Super séjour

Une villa magnifique avec une vue époustouflante. Très bien entretenue et décorée. Idéalement situé, à proximité de mini supermarché et du centre-ville ainsi que des plages. Nous avons passés un super séjour. Nous vous recommandons cette villa les yeux fermés.

Supernetter Host, der in der Zeit als wir dort 2 Wochen Urlaub gemacht haben gerade auch dort wohnte. Es handelt sich um 3 Ferienhäuser die sich den Pool teilen, Villa Amarena, Mango und Lemon. Die Terrasse ist direkt an einer Steilküste vor einer Bucht. Athemberaubend. Warum wir nur eines der beiden Schlafzimmer aufgeschlossen wurde, haben wir nicht verstanden. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett, das Andere wohl zwei Einzelbetten. Lästig waren die vielen Grashüpfer, die fast 10cm länge erreichen können, und bei Dämmerung ins Licht fliegen. Die „Stadt“ hat viele kleine Läden mit dem Nötigsten was man zum Leben braucht. Die Restaurants sind OK, kulinarische Höhenflüge sollte man aber nicht erwarten. Was uns begeistert hast war die extreme Freundlichkeit der Bewohner, fast jeder winkt einem freundlich zu, sogar aus dem Auto. Alle sind hilfsbereit und super freundlich, auch wenn man mit deutsch oder englisch nicht weit kommt. Man spricht Kreol, eine Mischung aus Portugiesisch und irgendwas anderem. Französisch ist eine Alternative bei einigen Menschen auf Maio. Frei auf der Insel leben viele Hunde, viele Hühner und auch einige Wildschweine, Ziegen und ein paar Kühe. Sie Streuner sind aber nicht aggressiv, wir fühlten uns sehr sicher. Insgesamt ein tolles Urlaub, wenn man die Ruhe sucht.

Für die Heuschrecken ist es endlich vorbei puh es war ein außergewöhnliches Jahr, und es wird für diesen Winter große Nahrungsprobleme geben wollte es nicht benutzen. Wunderschöne Villa, wunderschöner Platz

Wir haben im Casa Limon drei Wochen verbracht und uns in diesem wunderbar barrierefreien, minimalistischen und sehr stilvollen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Licht, dir Anordnung der Räume,die Farben und die große Terasse mit dem Blick auf die Küste und den Atlantik sind einzigartig. Aber auch die Küche und Schlafbereiche haben alles, was man braucht. Das Haus und die kleine Stadt sind ein perfekter Ort für Ruhe und Inspiration.

superbe séjour ,magnifique

Notre séjour en famille 4 personnes s'est trés bien passé grace au grand confort de cette villa avec ses 2 chambres séparées et salles d'eau privatives ,un luxe au cap vert. La vue est unique et correspond parfaitement aux photos ,même encore mieux .Les baleines et les dauphins sont venus nous rendre visite pour notre plus grand bonheur l ile de Maio reste encore une jolie ile calme ,paisible , un petit paradis loin des yeux du monde . .Merci encore pour ce beau séjour , à consommer sans modération .

Très jolie maison, confortable et joliment décorée avec une magnifique terrasse à vivre avec vue imprenable sur la mer! A peu de distance du centre de Vila do Maio. . A conseiller pour les amateurs de plage, de mer, de nature, de pêche.. La visite de cette île encore préservée du tourisme de masse vaut le coup également : très beaux paysages et villages typiques. Merci à Patricia pour ses conseils et communications utiles et sympathiques! L'accueil par Livio à l'arrivée et au départ pour l'aéroport, et sa disponibilité sur place pour d'éventuelles questions sont un véritable plus! Nous avons adorés et reviendrons certainement! Marion
