I wish I could have stayed longer, and nicer than a fisherman's bunkhouse might be if I was building it.
A well appointed place to stay for any occasion.
What a great place to stay! Joe proactively reached out to make sure I knew the house was ready and notnto hesitate and ask if I needed anything. Its always nice when a host is open and communicative. The place is roomy and lofty with all of the amenities you would need. Instructions were clear and it was clean upon arrival. I would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone. It was very comfortable. Thank you Joe!

Thanks Jeremy,
Good to talk to you the other day and make some connections, bummed I missed out on your jam session, sounds like a honey. The place was left clean, great guests.
Gonna double down on those blinds as suggested. Good input.

The house is huge, lots of space. Very well equipped, kitchen was well stocked with condiments for cooking. Cozy and quiet, would definitely come back here. Thanks Joe!
Very good property! Lots of sleeping space, lots of cooking space and supplies, and clean. Joe is a great host. This was the fourth year my buddies and I made the Combat Cabin our headquarters for a week of fly-fishing. Looking forward to our return in 2026.
This property offers plenty of space, amenities, and easy access to everything Twin Bridges has offer. Communication with Joe was super easy.
We’d love to stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Joe
This project was completed with many recycled items and is super-insulated, with led lighting and efficient water heaters. I enjoy messing around in the mountains on skis, cutting snow cornices(The BackcountryBomb is an invention of mine), painting and living in tipis, making structures out of recycled things, and am getting the garden thing dialed in, slowly. When the mood strikes, I will go Combat Skiing.
Why they chose this property
Twin Bridges is surrounded by the Tobacco Root, Ruby, Highland and Pioneer mountain ranges, with the Beaverhead river running through. This project was completed in just over a year by Joe, a few friends, and much wood from old barns and houses being torn down and reassembled in Twin.
