Lovely family vacation
We spent 2 weeks here for an extended family vacation. If what you are looking for is enjoying the Mediterranean in a quiet town, surrounded by gorgeous nature, and great beach, this place is great. Everyone in our group called it the best family vacation ever.
Large house, and a very large garden. Beach is right off the bottom of the property. Tamariu is hilly, and there are stairs everywhere you go. After a week, we no longer noticed them, but the first few days was a bit of work. It was nice to alternate between beach, and privacy of hanging out by the pool. Pool was warm, and enjoyed by kids when they got chilly in the sea.
You can take a lot of fun short trips nearby: Lle Franc, Begur....
Cons? There are mosquitoes when sun comes up and down, come prepared. We wished there was a bit more seating in the outdoor area by the kitchen. Outside large dining table is a 20m? walk from the kitchen.
