First Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. On road parking. No smoking.. Set in the heart of Alnmouth this is a perfectly located holiday cottage. The cottage is cosy and welcoming. Alnmouth is a beautiful coastal village. The Beach and Golf course is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Lovely Pubs, Restaurants, Gift Shops, Post Office and Deli just a minute walk away. Explore the heritage coastline with coastal walks starting in the village. Warkworth, a beautiful village is 4 miles away, there is a walking /cycling path from Alnmouth. Amble is 5 miles away (1 mile on from Warkworth). Amble has a harbour and marina and great seafood restaurants to offer. Alnwick is 5 miles away, a lovely town, you can visit Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens, one of the biggest water gardens in Europe, Beautiful Beach at Newton by the Sea, Low Newton, really worth a visit. approx 20 minute drive. Bamburgh Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle are around a 25 minute drive away. Seahouses approx 20 mins drive. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from Seahouses to see the puffins and seals. Holy Island is approx 40 mins drive away. well worth a visit, when the tide is out by driving over the causeway.

The cottage is ideal for a visit to the Northumberland coast.

The cottage is ideal for a visit to the Northumberland coast. It is close to an excellent beach with plenty of places to eat within a minutes walk. We have stayed at the cottage several times, it is well furnished, very clean and there are never any problems. There is usually a parking place opposite the cottage and as it is on a small road there are no issues with noise etc. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Really cosy quiet and comfortable little cottage. Surprisingly spacious apart from the galley kitchen ( but it’s a cottage so .... ) Ideal for a base exploring the coastal areas. Only issue was finding a place to park the car. Decent pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and a little local shop. Would definitely return Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay - the cottage is very quirky, in an excellent location and had everything and more, so we wanted for nothing! Situated in the centre of Alnmouth, down a side street off the main road through the village, the cottage was just a stones throw away from all the local pubs and the shop - better still it was only a 5 minute walk to the amazing beach! Alnmouth is an excellent place to stay when wanting to explore the Northumberland coast!

I would recommend the cottage and location.

I would recommend the cottage and location. We have stayed at the cottage several times and will continue to do so. The cottage is fully equipped for a weeks stay and Alnmouth is excellent for the beach, food and beer.

Grosvenor Cottage was very warm and welcoming on our arrival.

Grosvenor Cottage was very warm and welcoming on our arrival. The well equipped kitchen met all our culinary needs and more. The living/ dining room was very comfortable for our down time. The bathroom was bright, modern and beautiful and the bedroom just perfect. Crockery was fabulous and kitchen equipment more than adequate. The coffee maker and all white goods were very welcome. We, thoroughly, enjoyed our stay in the cottage and the area is one we love and have visited on several occasions. I can, and already have, highly recommend Grosvenor Cottage. Small yet perfectly formed we’ll, most definitely, return with Paddy our small Jack Russell Terrier for another delightful stay.
