A very cosy cottage that makes you feel at home straight away.

A very cosy cottage that makes you feel at home straight away. It is ideal for a quiet break. Great hosts and easy to park. The cottage has everything for a comfortable stay. Larger towns within easy driving distance.

Cottage rather isolated unless you are a keen walker.

Cottage rather isolated unless you are a keen walker. Narrow single track roads from the property. Perfect though if you want to get some peace and quiet. The cottage itself is lovely, all you need is provided. Pity though they didn’t put more windows in to allow you to look at the view if the weather is not good enough to sit outside.

A really lovely find! I spent hours looking at places all over the UK but glad ended up here at Owl Cotes! There are stunning views over the Dales, miles of walks and most importantly a pub within walking distance! Place was clean and tidy throughout, perfect space for two and the owner we met was a fantastic guy! Only reason for 9/10 on comfort and equipment was no WiFi and 8/10 on amenities as everything is a drive away (which is ideal if you want remote!) A lovely holiday cottage in an excellent location, very quiet and within walking distance of plenty of public footpaths, so no need to use the car all the time. The book of the local walks in the cottage was very useful indeed. Some lovely places to visit a short drive away. We would definitely think about coming back again. Owl Cotes Cottage is in an excellent quiet location. Lots of walking and cycling from the door. The owner was friendly and very helpful, recommending walks and restaurants in the area. He provided storage for our bicycles. We wished we could have stayed longer at the end of our week. Can't wait for a return visit. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
