Friendly owner , very clean cottage , great access onto shingle beach, you can hear road noise from the A75 in the rear bedroom , but the location is very special if you like views and wild life. The beach side of the cottage you lose yourself to the sound of the sea and coastal birds
Great part of Scotland to explore and as you are close to the main road, everywhere is easy to get to, and not busy.
Great castle ruins, small towns, gardens, forests and beaches in the area , plus so much wildlife from red kites, eagles, roe deer, red deer, and even saw a mink walk off with a baby rabbit.
Our dog enjoyed the stay, and will miss the area, Newton Stewart 10 minutes away by car. Great local tea rooms and smoke houses very near.
