Old Stones Cottage nestles in a peaceful hamlet of Burnfoot, in Glendevon in rural central Scotland. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth, Stirling and St Andrews are all within an hour’s drive.

The cottage has been thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease. Look out for the secret door, through a bookcase, that can link the bedrooms! There is a cosy wood burner in the lounge and a pretty sun room to relax in which looks out over the garden.

Located adjacent to a Woodland Trust site enables you to access a range of footpaths throughout the Ochil hills direct from the front door. Conveniently located for visiting castles and gardens with the tranquil Japanese Garden at Muckhart being a 10 minutes drive.

A great location for visiting golfers with a selection of golf courses in easy driving distance, the world renowned Gleneagles courses are a 10-minute drive.

With castles, historic buildings and monuments, distilleries, wildlife parks and beautiful gardens to visit, local lochs to fish, golf and off road driving within close proximity, this is a perfect all year round location to relax and enjoy the outdoors or simply relax in the sun room with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

This property is a gem. The house is beautiful and cozy with plenty of space, and had everything we needed. My little girls loved the garden space. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is great- tucked away in the peaceful countryside but close to plenty of things to see. Our host was so kind and accommodating. We loved our week here, thank you!

This is an extremely comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Local shops and a choice of places to eat out are a short drive away. The local pub/hotel is five minutes' walk: we enjoyed a couple of outings there and were made to feel very welcome. The owners of the cottage are lovely and were available if needed but not intrusive. We had a great week here and would recommend the cottage and the surrounding area wholeheartedly.

The owner of the cottage Mairi could not have been more welcoming and was on hand should you require her. The cottage itself was spotless with everything you need and set in its own wonderful garden. Have just returned from a fantastic week in Old Stones Cottage.

Have just returned from a fantastic week in Old Stones Cottage. The cottage is lovely and homely - the underfloor heating and log burner were very welcoming the first few days there as the weather was cold. Very well equipped kitchen although we hardly cooked at all but it was reassuring to know. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming - there was even a ‘welcome pack’ provided which was great fully received.
