Galardonado Ideal Rural Escape en Earn Valley 5 min de Perth

Esta cabaña tradicional ha sido bellamente restaurada a un nivel muy alto; Luminoso y elegante con una cocina abierta / sala de estar con calefacción por suelo radiante. El área abierta comprende una cocina bien equipada con electrodomésticos integrados, un comedor confortable y asientos adicionales en la extensión de vidrio para tomar el sol de la mañana con un café de la cafetera Nespresso. La sala de estar cuenta con cómodos asientos, un televisor de pantalla plana y una estufa de leña bien surtida.

Las habitaciones tienen baño privado; El maestro tiene una bañera con patas en el baño. Una puerta de la habitación doble conduce a un patio con una mesa y sillas estilo café, perfectas para tomar un café por la mañana. Se proporciona una letrina separada como una sala de arranque de kit mojado perfecto. Hay un fregadero de acero inoxidable, lavadora, secadora y polea para secar la ropa.

Sometimes you book somewhere and have such high expectations, that they can not possibly be reached. This was most certainly NOT the case with this property. All expectations were exceeded, and believe me, they were high before arrival!The cottage is beautiful, set in a dip, with land around it. Lots of private outside space. On going inside our pleasure grew. It smelt so clean and welcoming. A beautiful basket of goodies awaited us in the kitchen which was a nice touch. Speaking of the kitchen, it's very well stocked with all you could possibly need to cook. The farm shop nearby does great ready meals and this was the limit of my cooking this time!The bedrooms are roomy and both have en-suites, one with bath, the other with shower. This worked well with our party of 3.A short walk through the gate gets you to the river Earn. What a beautiful spot to sit and take in the peace. Although the pheasant were keen to let us know they were about!Loads to do in the area and our 7 nights whizzed by. Would we return, most definitely.

Charming cottage just minutes from Perth. Soaps and shampoos in bathroom and crisp, clean linens and towels. We appreciated the slippers and housecoats and we enjoyed the welcome basket. The Kirkstyle Pub in nearby Dunning was fantastic as was Gloagburn Farm Market. Hope to return someday.

Wir durften eine Woche in diesem außergewöhnlichen Objekt verbringen. Alle Zimmer, sowie das Anwesen insgesamt, sind ungewöhnlich großzügig dimensioniert. Man hat überall Platz en masse. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und ungewöhnlich umfangreich. Die Nähe zum Fluss ist wunderbar. Hier konnten wir vom Otter, über Rehe, Hasen und Wiesel usw. viele Tiere beobachten. Die Kommunikation mit unseren Gastgebeen war unkomplitziert und schnell. Insofern bleibt die Erinnerung an einer schönen Woche Urlaub in einem tollen Anwesen.

The cottage was in an idyllic location, beautifully-kept grounds, clean cottage interior. Well-loved furniture but sheets and towels very clean. Robes and slippers very much appreciated. Check-in was easy, kitchen facilities excellent for cooking dinners in. Wi-Fi access was adequate but we rented our own mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for our use. The roads around the cottage were one-lane and very narrow, scary for me as an American, but we had no issues. The shed with full laundry facilities was very much appreciated as we stayed for 17 days. The microwave location being in the shed and not the kitchen was slightly inconvenient but I understand if it's location was due to electrical restrictions. We had fun bird watching and seeing the deer, pheasants and hares around the cottage. Being a very hot summer we had issues with wasps, bees and flies coming in the cottage windows and doors, which had no screens. There were no ceiling or standing fans in the cottage and we couldn't open the windows due to the bugs so it got hot at stuffy at times. The glass front could use some privacy screens for night time but it provided a lovely view during the day. Communication with the hosts was prompt, respectful and helpful. Overall a lovely stay.

Have stayed before and love the property. It’s well equipped with tasteful, good quality furnishings comfy beds and luxurious linen. We had a bit of an issue getting the code for the keys but that could be my lack of tech knowledge! Slightly disappointed that on this visit we couldn’t get down to the river as I had promised I would swim every day. However we had a wonderful relaxing time, the birds and wildlife are amazing, and because the grounds are so extensive and well thought out, even when it rained we could still be outdoors. A beautiful peaceful place even if there were lots of cobwebs in the shower room. I’m sure we’ll return

We were blown away

What a fantastic property. The house was spotless on our arrival and so well equipped. First impression was that it was a Show Home, both inside and out. The beds were very comfortable and the duvets were amazing. We had a great time exploring the local area and there was no need for any heating as the weather was lovely and warm. We would recommend this home to anyone. The Lees.

Amazing stone cottage

This cottage was warm and welcoming from the moment we unlocked the door. We stayed 4 nights but wished we had booked more. From the heated floors to the soaking tub and the beautiful walk to the river everything was 5 stars.

Earn River Cottage was our home away from home for 10 glorious days. The location is ideal for exploring the area. Nearby Gloagburn Farm Shop and Kirkstyle Inn for dining were just a few of our favourites. The cottage is very well appointed, and the welcome basket was a real treat. We will be returning very soon.

Small jewel

Four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) were lucky to stay in this cottage for a week. We were greeted with a lovingly packed basket of local goodies. The cottage itself leaves nothing to be desired. The kitchen is very well equipped and the rooms are lovingly furnished. The Earn River is accessible via a private entrance. Due to its location, Perth can be reached in 5-10 minutes. Cities such as Edinburgh or Glasgow can also be reached within an hour. Nature and hiking areas can also be reached quickly and easily. The house exceeded our expectations and helped us to relax and calm down. We would love to come back anytime. We would love to come back.

Perfect cottage in a lovely setting

We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage was great, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Bright and in a lovely area. Loved watching the lambs in the field beside us. Short distance to pubs, farm shops etc. Can't wait to come back. Thank you.

One of the best!

A wonderful property to stay in for a holiday. Warm, welcoming, comfortable, spotless, quiet with a terrific outlook onto woods and fields. Lovely welcome pack on arrival, clear instructions for appliances and the well stocked wood burner. We loved listening to the many birds, spotted red squirrel and deer and all from the inspired front conservatory! We experienced sun hot enough to lie out in, rain, wind and even snow on the last day. Excellently positioned for visiting other towns and the local pub, 10 minutes away, was a delight. We will definitely book again, hopefully in a different season to witness the trees in leaf.

Just superb

We've previously stayed in their larger property a few miles away and had a fantastic time. This time didn't disappoint either. Their standards are impeccable, I defy anyone to stay there and say there was something the owners hadn't thought of because we couldn't think of anything. The treats there on arrival are a lovely touch, cleanliness 1st rate, fantastic open plan living, very comfortable beds and country living but with Perth only 10 minutes drive away. As my heading says, just superb and we will be booking again for next year!

Outstanding

There are not enough superlatives to describle this house - and it is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house - not a cottage. It is well laid out, fully-equipped and clearly fits in a "superior" category - no wonder it has won awards. It is in a private, peaceful location and there is a short bushland path to your own isolated picnic table on the banks of the Earn River. The property description and photos are accurate but cannot convey how nice this place is. In the country but close to Perth, with both a large Tesco and well equipped farm shop/cafe 10 minutes away. There is also a quaint country pub within a short drive. The beds are excellent. Donryn is a great host and responds promptly. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in the countryside

Really nice cottage off the beaten track near Perth. We found it a great home base for our visits e.g. to Stirling, Edinburgh and Aberfeldy. The cottage is very well equipped - nothing we were missing. The hosts were very friendly and responsive as well. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely Perfect Cottage

We had such an amazing stay at Earn Cottage. The accommodations were just perfect and really enjoyed the claw tub for a soothing bath. The property is great and we took a few strolls. It was so nice to see the baby sheep as we drove into the property and even had a local pheasant pecking at the window to say hello. Did a lot of day trips so it was convenient. Would definitely come back for another stay. thanks again
