Had a great time in Lake Tahoe and this home was fantastic. The beds were extra comfortable. The cooking facilities were great with all the utilities and spices available. The hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings. Enjoyed being able to eat outdoors in the evenings. Kids really enjoyed the game room.
We had a wonderful time staying here on summer vacation for a week! It was a family trip with ages ranging from 1 to 96 and the house was great for everyone. The game room was a highlight for the kids. We also spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view and weather. The location is very close to beaches, boat rentals, restaurants, etc.The host was very responsive to our messages. Definitely recommend.
We traveled with a group of 8-10 young adults and had great experience. Centrally located and well kept property. Easy to access Tahoe City and local beaches. Great stay!

You are welcome back any time. We work very hard to keep the house in shape so people will have whatever they need. Our 4 bedrooms make sleeping arrangements very comfortable.
This house was located close to the lake, restaurants, and grocery stores. We came to ski and it was a short 15 minute drive to palisades. The house is great! We loved watching sunset from the hot tub. The rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are great. We really enjoyed our cabin trip here.

This a great house in Tahoe city close to many ski resorts. A group of work colleagues enjoyed the weekend. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. The house is well appointed and is fully stocked. Nice beds and linens too. Thanks!
This was the perfect place and experience for our first visit to Lake Tahoe. The house was exactly as beautiful as the pictures online and is in an ideal location to explore both North and South Tahoe. Plenty of of space for our party of 8.
This rental is in a peaceful neighborhood and is conveniently located near Tahoe City. The house is comfortable and good for a family or group of friends.

With the conservancy on one side and a green belt on the other it is quite peaceful.
A perfect property and location for a family vacation, with a range of children's ages it accommodated all of our needs. Thank you! We will be back for sure :)
The property was in a great location close to Tahoe City and very spacious and stocked. Our host was very responsive and friendly. The game room was a favorite for both adults and our kids. The hot tub was very clean. Also plenty of supplies for a day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, toys). My only complaint was the air inside was a little stale when we first arrived. Had to open all the windows and spray a little air freshener. Comes with the territory though since the majority of the homes in the area don’t have HVAC systems to circulate the air throughout the home. Would stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Joanne Creel
We’re longtime Northern California locals who absolutely love everything this region has to offer! We’ve owned our Tahoe home for over 10 years and take great pride in creating a memorable and comfortable stay for both nearby guests and travelers from around the world. We’re always dreaming up new ways to enhance the experience and help our guests make lasting memories in the mountains.
Why they chose this property
Our home sits on a spacious lot bordered by a Nature Conservancy on one side and a greenbelt on the other, offering a serene and secluded setting. Located in Tahoe’s beautiful West Shore, you’ll enjoy stunning views and easy access to some of the region’s top destinations—Truckee, Squaw Valley, and Emerald Bay all just minutes away. We are in close proximity to ten national forest areas, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing. Plus, the home is just a short walk from fantastic photo spots and fun sledding hills. We especially love hiking to Eagle Rock or exploring the nearby trail system.
We highly recommend dining at Jake’s on the Lake—famous for its breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine. Our favorite adult summertime treat is a Chambers Punch at Chambers Landing, just down the road. Just a short drive to the North Shore, don’t miss Gar Woods, an iconic spot known for its lively atmosphere and refreshing wet woodies.
Some local favorites are a short drive away. For groceries and fresh eats, check out New Moon Natural foods and café, Tahoe House Bakery, or the Farmers Market (Thurs).
Just down the street are several dining gems: the cozy Fire Sign Cafe and the iconic Sunnyside restaurant. Sunnyside is beloved for its expansive deck and panoramic lake views—an unbeatable spot to have brunch. Fire Sign Cafe, with its charming classic Tahoe style, offers delicious meals, generous portions, and the good iced tea.
Also nearby, be sure to check out Bridgetender for some delicious American bar food, The Dam Cafe for excellent coffee, pastries, and breakfast burritos, and West Shore Market for awesome sandwiches to fuel your day.
This neighborhood truly offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure, local flavor, and peaceful retreat.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property stand out is its spacious, beautifully updated interiors designed for comfort and connection. The large bedrooms, modern kitchen, and great room with expansive windows create a bright, welcoming space for family and friends to gather.
Step out onto the upstairs deck with cozy seating and a gas BBQ, perfect for enjoying peaceful lake views and the serene atmosphere. After a day of adventure, unwind in the private hot tub or enjoy friendly competition in the brand-new, fully equipped game room.
All bathrooms have been thoughtfully renovated for style and comfort. Conveniently located just one mile from Tahoe City’s restaurants and shopping, the home is close to skiing, hiking, and beaches — making it an ideal base for year-round Tahoe adventures.
