Enjoy this Tahoe log home with your guests during any season of the year! Located in Tahoe City, you are minutes from downtown, beaches, and major ski resorts. Our hot tub is the perfect end to you day.

This remodeled large 4 bedroom is set to exceed your expectations as a vacation renter. The home is fully stocked with everything you need, and our upgrades will delight guests of all ages. The kitchen features a gourmet gas range and anything you need to prepare a wonderful meal as a group. Enjoy the real wood fireplace after a day out in the mountains of Tahoe and unwind with your friends or family. The home provides privacy for the group allowing for a bedroom suite above the garage set up in its own wing of the home. The rest of the home is spread out with comfort in mind.

Parking:
There is enough parking for 4 cars. One small car can park in the garage. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Location:
Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Cross country skiing is close by and rentals are available at Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Not a pet friendly home
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Father’s Day Weekend Trip

The cabin is beautiful! Everything the post says is exactly what’s in the home. We cooked everyday and had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was great for an early morning relax. The cabin location is right up the street from downtown Tahoe City. The grocery store is 10 minutes down the road. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We loved that it’s dog friendly and we got to bring our dog with us. Overall 10/10. Great communication as well with the rental company if we needed anything Would stay again! My family enjoyed the weekend

Good Value

Property as advertised. Location is great. We enjoyed family game night with a fire going. Kitchen supplies good. Plenty of linens. Only reason not a 5 star was hot tub took extra day to be ready and dishwasher stopped working. But the management company was amazingly responsive.

Great room and fireplace

The cabin is well decorated in a cabin theme. The beds are comfortable and warm. The kitchen is also well equipped. But the towels are worn and no extra towels. I would stay again. Lots of fun board games. Overall the cabin is very nice. We enjoyed a beautiful white Christmas.

Fun for the whole family

Wonderful neighborhood, comfy, clean house. We traveled with our teenage kids and my senior parents. The cabin was a perfect fit. We all had enough space and enjoyed the common areas and deck. I was able to run the path into Tahoe city and loved grabbing a coffee at the bakery less than a mile away. Definitely would recommend.

Great mountain retreat!

Beautiful log home with all the amenities! Loved having a grill and hot tub! Perfect spot for a family getaway with so much room to accommodate everyone! Would stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient Lake Tahoe location with all the creature comforts you need:-)

Tahoe City April 2024

This was the second time we’ve stayed at this property, so we were excited to be back this time. The house is great, lots of space and we loved the high quality kitchen (wolf range, subzero fridge). We were looking forward to the hot tub, however were disappointed when we found that it had a leak and was losing water over the weekend. There was also some miscommunication as a hot tub repair contractor came out to treat the leak the day before we checked out, so we couldn’t use the hot tub for the last day. We happened to come back to the house as the contractor was leaving and he told us he had just added some chemicals and the tub couldn’t be used for 3-4 days. There was no communication about this from property management, and had we not spoken as he was leaving we would’ve had no idea. Overall nice place, great location, but not so great communication and management.

Summer Family Trip

Exceptionally well-maintained, fully-equipped home with generous bedrooms to comfortably sleep eight. Terrific location near West Shore activities. Responsive property management company able to answer quick questions. Hot tub was a treat at the end of the day after hiking. Kitchen counter space was terrific and accommodated lots of cooks in the kitchen. Very comfy living room seating with space for all of us. The bathrooms were clean and the rain showers excellent. Would love to stay here again, thank you!

Nice place

We enjoyed our 5-day stay in the log cabin. It is a nice place with lots of room. The pingpong table in the garage was a real hit! We had a problem with the dishwasher not working but they sent over a repair person the same day. Two burners on the stove didn't work but we did fine without them---6 burner gas stove. The shower head in the master spewed water everywhere and they did not fix that but, hopefully, they will soon. Otherwise the house was very nice and we had a good visit. The location is very convenient to local activities and easy to access. Tahoe is a lovely place! We loved out visit there.

Great house in great neighborhood

The house is located in a very nice and private neighborhood. The house is well kept, and well appointed. We loved our stay there. Also was pet friendly which made it even better. Liked the fact that it had a mudroom to put the skis and dogs in. Hot tub is very nice right off the deck. Would recommend staying here.

This place is awesome. Clean, warm, easy to get to (even with record snow fall) quick walk into town but feels remote, management company clearly working hard during these snow events to keep property in good working order, good communication, seamless check-in...... What else do you want?

Great, cozy spot. Would stay again!

We had a very nice stay here. The house and neighborhood are great. Hot tub was wonderful. The only things that could've been better would be if there were more snow shovels. We had about 38" in 24 hours, and we were snowed in on our checkout day. The roads weren't plowed by checkout time, and it was very difficult to get out.

Snowed in had to shovel snow from door was broken had to use mud room entrance 23 days after stay the finally cleaned snow 2 ft on hot tube and garage was flooded

Amazing stay for my family in a Cozy Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family, 3 couples, 2 toddlers, and a dog, had a wonderful stay here at the Sequoia Log cabin in December before Christmas. The kids and dog had a blast in the snow while we cozied up to the fire at night and relaxed in the hot tub. We all slept very comfortable and cooking for all of us was an ease with a very modern and clean kitchen. The bed were all very large and comfy and the Living Room allowed us all to watch Christmas movies while the boys played ping pong in the garage. Super close to both Palisades and Northstar for days of skiing. We cannot wait to have our family stay here again!
