Set in rural seclusion close to a working farm this cottage enjoys exclusive views over and across the Wyre Forest. Decorated to a high standard the cottage (one of a pair) was formerly a coach house and stables and offers comfortable accommodation.
The traditionally decorated living room with Freeview TV, DVD player and cushiony sofas, one a double sofa bed, creates a cosy space to relax at the end of a busy day. French doors open from the living room onto an enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture, perfect for some al fresco dining. A couple of steps lead to the fitted kitchen/dining room, well-equipped for putting together holiday feasts. It’s a lovely area to gather for a meal and plan the next days adventure. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with shower cubicle and toilet. Stairs lead to the first floor where the bedroom with comfortable double bed and family bathroom are located, both have soothing décor and sloped ceilings helping to create an intimate feeling.
The area has been declared one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can enjoy beautiful walks and bird-watching from the doorstep or visit one of the many nearby towns. Bewdly (4 miles) is an attractive town with interesting side streets and riverside walks. Ludlow is a little further afield and home to many festivals, world famous eateries and of course the castle. Bridgnorth, Stratford and The Cotswolds all within easy driving distance. Fishing and golf can be reached within 5 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub serving food 1 mile.

We loved the garden and view of the woods. We walked 19 miles on one day walking along the river Severn stopping for a drink at the Ship by the railway station. WhatsApp is a bonus here! Lovely and quiet. Perfect for solitude.

The cottage was roomier than expected.
The cottage was roomier than expected. Very clean and reasonably well equipped. Lovely quiet setting and private from the cottage next door. WiFi available in the lounge. The garden was safe for the dog. We enjoyed a peaceful break here.
