Excellent T2 apartment fully equipped, located in a quiet area with easy parking for free in front of the apartment and two steps from the city center. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and a kitchen. All rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There is public transport from the city center to the apartment area. 3 minutes walk from the Central Bus Station, 10 minutes from the Train Station and in 15 minutes you reach the historic area of Coimbra and Universities.

It was ok

We didn’t receave any instruction from the owner how to get into the apartment, even he lives in the building we never met him. There is no elevator , no AC, no iron or tea pot. The apartment is of a good size and enough for 4 people.

Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus vorhanden. Zur Innenstadt zu Fuß 20 Minuten, aber es sehr viel Uber, das ging jedesmal sehr schnell. Man könnte in der Unterkunft die Küche etwas besser ausstatten, etwas moderneres Glas und Porzellan (es gibt doch Ikea).

Property Description on VRBO misleading

The apartment itself was relatively clean and comfortable. The location was difficult to find and was more than a few steps to the center of town as described. It is above some commercial space and we arrived during business hours when parking was very hard to find anywhere on either side of the street. After the shops closed there were plenty of spaces. Communication with the owner was not the best. Some nice touches were maps on the wall showing markets and restaurants in the vicinity and a dispenser for coffee and other hot drinks next to the coffee maker. Bring .50 euro coins with you to use this. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was nice to use. We discovered a tiny fun little "hole in the wall" bar/restaurant when we were looking for something within walking distance called "Casa Mabilia" We had a lot of fun there with our new "Portuguese Family". The food was good the company was better. It was our favorite part of our one night stop in Coimbra.
