A gem of a find.
A gem of a find. Very clean and cosy lodge in a stunning location. We almost didn't go as the lockdown was to be introduced half way through our holiday, but decided that half a holiday was better than none at all. We definitely made the right decision. A wonderful break to set us up for the weeks and months ahead. Highly recommended.

We are retired, and despite being comfy at home we needed an away from it all break. We booked Robin Lodge for its serene surroundings and it was just what we wanted; ducks and other wild life being the only company. Views over the Malvern hills.

We had a great stay as a mini moon after our wedding. Lodge was fab and cannot fault it. We would definitely return.
Only downside was not being able to get a taxi easily or getting a take away delivered. Doesn’t put us off though

A charming lodge in secluded and peaceful surroundings.
A charming lodge in secluded and peaceful surroundings. Directions to the property were very straight forward and the location very handy off the M5. This made the area very accessible which was a delight to visit. Worcester Cathedral is well worth a look, walking up the 235 steps was well worth the trip. Walking in The Malvern Hills was superb with views to die for. Another day was spent at Stratford-upon-Avon which again did not disappoint. We visited the local Plough and Farrow for a couple of meals, but actually mostly enjoyed chilling at the lodge on an evening observing the wildlife around the pond from the decking or in the hot tub. We were lucky enough to view a heron one evening, for around an hour wading through the water, we saw woodpeckers and of course loved the ducks, moorhens and swallows. All appliances were easy to use and made the week stay very enjoyable. Directions to the supermarket very straight forward which made sure we were stocked up all week. We ate breakfast on the decking every morning, and the nights we cooked in we ate our evening meals out there too. The WiFi was fine, accessing what we required.
The hot tub was the icing on the cake, a great accessory to the fantastic lodge. Very private, and protected from the elements but still able to observe the stars.
We hope to return, however we will chose not to travel on a Friday which made the journey quite tedious.
A fabulous week where we were able to chill and recharge our batteries.
Thank you Barry and Rita for allowing us to stay in your accommodation.

Stumbled on the little gem whilst googling somewhere to go for the bank holiday weekend and what a fabulous find.
The position of this lodge makes it pretty much secluded, With your own private decking overlooking the lake and one very nice hot tub to while away the late evenings with a cold glass of wine watching all the ducks and geese potter around the lake.
As for lodge, there’s pretty much every thing you would need, very good little kitchen with pretty much everything you need to rustle up any meal and there’s a Barbecue outside. Comfortable bed and unlike a lot of places actually more then a just a couple of coat hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom as a very good shower with plenty of hot water.
Then do cause there is the log burner to relax in front of, that’s already set up for you with plenty of extra logs.
The owners of this place have really gone that extra mile, with the little touches. Reading one or two reviews on here then I’m not sure that they actually met the same woman as we did. Rita the owner is fab. Friendly, welcoming and chatty, after a quick tour around the place and a couple of tips, she was quite happy to let us just go relax and enjoy yourself though only a call away, ready to help with anything we needed.
Would we go back, simple answer there is yes.
