The La Cilla apartment, next to the El Granero rural apartment, is one of our most demanded rustic apartments. They are part of the last rehabilitation of the house so they are practically new apartments that offer a lot of comfort and quality.

Located on the first floor of our building, it consists of two spacious rooms, one double and one double, two bathrooms and a great fully equipped kitchen that communicates with our patio giving a nice view from inside.

Its wooden floor, its slate stone walls, its sloping roof and its finishes, together with its white and indigo blue color, make it even a warmer, nicer and more welcoming place.

Between the Valle del Jerte and La Vera and within the region of the Monfragüe National Park (just 15 minutes away), La Casa Rural La Solana is located. In a strategic site as a starting point to visit all the North of Extremadura.

Casa Rural la Solana is located at the top of the village, very close to the Church and the Plaza Mayor. In the XVII century it was Casa Cilla, belonging to the bishopric of Plasencia. He still keeps vestiges that credit him.

There are 6 apartments for 2 to 6 people each, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. There are apartments with one or two bedrooms, doubles and marriages. All with sofa bed.

In the common areas we find a large patio of 250 m2. with barbecue and garden furniture, and continuing inwards you access to its large garden, of more than 400 m2 in which you can enjoy contact with nature and observe La Vera and some of its villages and La Sierra de Gredos.


The reform and rehabilitation is carried out in 2001 trying to preserve the most emblematic and significant as all its alfarge, always respecting the style of the rural environment. La Solana has a large patio with its centennial fire, a curious barbecue stone oven, table and garden armchairs.

We can access the orchard through a typical passage, decorated with ancestral farming tools, and contemplate the beauty of the mountains of Gredos, the Vera and the Valley, admire the ancient olive trees, contemplate the biological agriculture of the traditional family garden, sit in a wooden bench or slate, hear closely the croaking of frogs, the sweet sound of birds, contemplate the illuminated Tower of the majestic Parochial Church and feel the tolling of its bells.

The orchard communicates with an old Arab cellar, with its cistern and "nevero" (RAE: Place of the high mountains where the snow is conserved all the year.), Accessible to the traveler or client who wishes it.
