About this property
Cabin
New Kitchen Countertops, Cabinets, Wood Floors, Sparkly Bathroom, 1 Bedroom, Porch, Patio, and BBQ with Towering Elms, Aspens and Cottonwoods! The Hummingbirds and Finches love it and so will you!
The Serta Master Bed is firm and lofty with allergen-free pillows, pillow covers and Cotton Bedding. Living Room adds comfort for TV watching or reading. There is high-speed internet and WiFi. We have air conditioning for the times when the mountain air isn't enough. If the Cabin is booked please visit our three other properties:
Pets are only allowed with Permission by Owner. Birds and wildlife visit the Casita and the property regularly so you'll see lots of hummingbirds, goldfinches, spotted towhees, white-breasted nuthatches, juniper titmice, ravens and lately a kestrel, when the ravens don't chase it away! We've just added an owl box and a bat box to the property! The javelina come through about every other night, plus we've seen a coyote and raccoons. We are located 1.6 miles from downtown in a neighborhood down a long lane on 1.25 acres. There is a meadow and Miller Creek, when it is running. Fry's grocery store is a couple blocks away. We are licensed, inspected and compliant with the City. We have fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and a first aid kit. Prescott has a Noise Ordinance from 10pm to 8am. We do not allow parties or events. Pets are allowed with permission, a signed Pet Agreement and a Pet Fee.

About the host
Hosted by Dave Rueb and Karen Hunt
The Log Cabin appears to have been owned (and possibly built) by a man who was a piano tuner and salesman. His wife worked as a bookkeeper for an attorney. They had one daughter who eventually taught dance in Los Angeles but returned to Prescott to care for her father in his last days and bury him in the local cemetery next to his wife (researched at Sharlot Hall Museum).
Thank you for choosing us. Let us know how we can make the property and your experience even better. We started this as our primary business after suffering many losses. We want a successful business and happy, satisfied guests! Blessings to you!
Karen and Dave
