The guest's review was quite surprising and unjustified. When she alerted us of a bug problem, we responded immediately (within an hour) with an extermination service.Also, this is a first notice we received from a guest about a bug problem in years! We regularly receive extermination service from our condo maintenance, so future guests should disregard this irrational commentary.

Anyone reading this review should automatically disregard it. In all our years renting this apartment and receiving mostly positive reviews (4.7% Excellent rating), we have never had to deal with such despicable people. They were negative from the day they arrived. Their two main complaints were concerning the area rug, which they claimed was dirty and what they claimed was a musty smell in the bedroom. We immediately went out and purchased a brand new rug and bought air fresheners for all the rooms.. Suddenly, their attitude changed and they wrote us this very positive message: "Lionel and Sally - thank you very much for your willingness to address the issues we had. Whoever chose the rug did a great job it makes room look brighter. You may have a lifetime supply of air freshener but that not bad thing. I will honor your wish to not leave review but with your effort to correct the issues my review would not be negative. I will also contact vrbo to let them know issues have been resolved to our satisfaction. Thanks". Then, a suddden change of mood. I asked, "Is there anything more we can do?" They said "No" and they vacated the apartment after staying for a week. By the end of their rental period, they insisted on a full refund. We have never had to deal with such irrational people, and we would warn other property owners to stay away from them.

You can disregard everything that this person says about the apartment. He is a totally dishonest person with evil intensions. Here is his motivation for criticizing our apartment. It's so incredible, you won't believe it! He arrived here, planning to rent the apartment. But he had second thoughts about staying, fearing the Corona Virus and wanted to cancel and return home. He demanded a full refund. VRBO allows hosts to offer a credit for a future rental in lieu of a refund. We offered him this option, but he insisted on a full refund. So this is what he did: He blackmailed us! He told us he had changed his mind and wanted to continue with the rental. He entered the apartment with the intention of taking photos of supposed defects and then said he was going to ask for a refund based on the allegation that the apartment was not what was advertised. He said he would do this unless we gave him his refund (blackmail). Obviously, he thought he could use this bogus excuse to get his refund. He then said he was going to ask his bank for a chargeback. Apparently, his bank refused to honor the chargeback. So, he became enraged and wanted to take his revenge. Our listing has a 5-star rating on VRBO and this is the first negative review we have ever received.
