We loved it so much! The apartment was the perfect size; in fact it was more than enough! The location and all of the amenities were lovely. It's within walking distance from the Liceu and Drassanes Metro stops which kept us very well connected to any part of Barcelona. The waterfront and beach are within walking distance and the food and surrounding area is very lovely! If you're looking for a great apartment that is centrally located, this is the one for you!We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much! I'll be looking for this again in the future when staying in Barcelona, and will be recommending it to friends. We loved it!

Location was close by to the main strip. The building itself was a bit rundown... peeling wallpaper in the hallways and the elevator is tiny.The apartment smelled really bad of smoke- even though it says it's a non smoking apartment. The shower was clogged the first time we used it and we had to unclog it so it wouldn't flood the floor.

Really fun place to stay in Gothic Quarter

Great location, walking distance from lots of popular tourist sites, restaurants, bars and multiple neighborhoods. Only draw back is that the AC wasn't working. Would definitely recommend staying here!

great stay in Barcelona.

This place is great. Perfect location without being too loud. Worked well for our family with two little kids and a baby. The beds in the smaller rooms weren't the most comfortable but totally fine for the kids. The host provided a pack n play for the baby which was great! I would stay here again.

Great Location Mediocre Place

Great location, close to everything including metro. Unit is way smaller than it looks in pictures. Kitchen is so small and everything felt it was designed for a little person. The biggest complain is the bathrooms. And specifically the showers. One bath is a tub and shower. The issue was the tub was so slippery and tall it’s very dangerous to get out as there is nothing to hold on to. The other shower is so small one can barely turn around and nowhere to put soap or shampoo. The other issue was the communication with the “host”. There were several maintenance issues and I would send an email and not get any response. And then out of nowhere either someone would just show up or we would come back after touring and find the item repaired. This would be nowhere near our first choice if we came back to Barcelona, but, as a last result, due to the location, we may stay there again. We just wouldn’t use the shower if we were home alone.

Nice place, slow communication

The appartment went well. Of course some nights there were drunk partiers making noise at 2AM, but not every night. The location was great. And everyone in Barcelona was friendly. My only issue was the management company was super slow to communicate with over the VRBO app. Almost like its not their main app. But they wouldnt tell me an alternate way to communicate that wasnt long distance phone calling. I wrote them that out flight was delayed and we needed to reschedule our arrival but even 12 hrs later when we landed, they had not responded (several normal weekday work hours into their day) At this point I still wasnt given their phone mumber despite requesting it several times. They then called me to tell me we were late for check in and one agent said I would owe a late fee. I said no way and told them I wrote them plenty early. They didnt charge me. The check in lady was very kind and met us at her next available oportunity. From that point on, it all went well. Of course no further communication was required.

L'appartement est malpropre, désuet, non entretenue. Trous dans les murs, trace de saletés partout sur les murs, patte de lit brisée, couvertures et divans tâchés, céramiques cassées, robinets rouillés, horreur! horreur! les propriétaires devraient faire des rénovations majeures avant de louer. Nous ne sommes pas des gens difficiles, mais je ne vous recommande pas du tout cet appartement.

Central and quiet

The apt. Was quite spacious, very quiet, cool and comfortable. The property manager met us right on the street very punctually, and was full of good information and insider tips for restaurants (we fell in love with the modest setting, spectacular food and warm welcome at at Casa Mari y Rufo, and will return). Other reviewers have commented on the neighborhood itself, but the apartment owners are very frank about this. You must take proper precautions on the street, but the apt itself is quite secure. Visitors to La Rambla area need to keep their wits about them ... the local pickpockets will happily relieve fools of unnecessary possessions. Highly recommended for experienced travellers who want to be close to all the excitement of Barcelona without being right in the middle of it.

Appartement sympa dans quartier sympa

Appartement situé juste à côté de la plaza reial, ce qui le rend très sympa. Il est à 2 mn de la Rambla et à 5 mn de la boqueria. Il est fonctionnel mais gagnerait à avoir un peu plus d'équipements pour faire la cuisine, tq les casseroles...

Stay near Placa Reial

A little rough around the edges (for example have to pull bathroom door closed quite hard to make lock fit) but spotlessly clean. Left welcome packs and kitchen is well equipped. Brilliant location. Overall would recommend.
