Great holiday house

Very spacious and well equipped house. Pool is a very good size as is the large patio area and garden. Owners were extremely helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful location - small bakery in village. Easy to travel to La Rochelle, Ile de Re and numerous beaches along the coast.

Mixed blessings

Property well equipped with a wonderful pool Garden area for children. Air conditioning a real bonus. Unfortunately the village has essentially died. There are no shops or bars within walking distance and the closest villages are not much better, although there are boulangeries in the next villages and a Spar supermarket in one of them. The property is advertised as 20 minutes from La Rochelle, but that is completely unrealistic. Overall; property lovely but surroundings poor.

Info Incorrect on VRBO Website

The property was very good but there were 2 major tings that were incorrect on the VRBO website. There were 3 bedrooms but one was locked and not available for us to use It stated on the VRBO website that final cleaning was included in the proice but we had to pay the owner an additional 100 Euros and we've not had it refunded by VRBO We arrived less than 30 minutes early and were sent away as we were early. Although we had to leave by 9am the owners arrived at 8.30am to look around the property

Haus mit sehr schönem Außenbereich

Schönes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Der sehr große beheizte Pool wurde ausgiebig genutzt. Der riesige Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und man hat 100% Privatsphäre. Unser kleiner Hund konnte sich frei bewegen, weil das Grundstück so zuverlässig eingezäunt ist. Die Küche ist neuwertig und der Wohnbereich ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Badezimmer sind teilweise älter aber es ist alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind immer ansprechbar und hatten tolle Tipps für uns und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir empfanden die Lage als sehr gut, da man in der Umgebung viel unternehmen kann. Das Dorf selbst ist aber klein und und mit sehr wenig Infrastuktur. Zum nächsten Supermarkt dauert es ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden alleine wegen dem tollen Garten gerne wiederkommen.

Belles vacances dans cette belle maison au calme, tout confort, piscine chauffée. Très joli jardin clos pour notre petit chien. Propriétaires sympathiques. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Vendée et Charente Maritime. A recommander.

Beautiful home from home

A beautiful house that is spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained to the highest standards. We took our little dog for 10 days of peace and quiet and relaxation by the pool. Lovely garden to relax in with a secure dog-proof perimeter. Great sized pool at a perfect temperature. The bungalow is in a lovely quiet area with gated parking just 25 minutes from the buzzing city of La Rochelle. Four bikes were available for us to use during our stay. Internet, WiFi, Netflix and Amazon on a big TV with great sound. Marie-Christine and Claude are lovely hosts that attend to every possible need. Definitely recommend. We hope to return.

Fabulously relaxing week in paradise!

I cannot recommend this property enough! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The hosts were very welcoming and showed us round the whole house and gardens, explaining everything. The property itself is immaculate and contains everything you could possibly need. The gardens and pool are wonderful, and very spacious. The perimeter of the property is completely walled making it perfect for our puppies and secluded for sunbathing. The location is also ideal. Puyravault is a quiet hamlet with a boulangerie just round the corner and a bar restaurant around 5 minutes walk away. The nearest supermarket is around 7 minutes by car. La Rochelle and Ile de Ré are conveniently closeby for day trips. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will certainly return in the future 😀

Vacances reposantes

Sehr schönes Haus

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Haus, Der Pool ist angenehm warm, es sind ausreichend Liegen vorhanden. Die Küche ist neu, modern und super bestückt. Wir waren 2 Paare, durch 2 separate Bäder und sehr gute Betten war alles perfekt. Die Vermieter geben sich alle Mühe und zur Verständigung hilft auch noch google. Allerdings muss man zum Meer rund 30 Min rechnen. Aber insgesamt haben wir in Frankreich noch kein so schönes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus gehabt.

Spaß und Erholung am Pool

Wir haben die Tage im Haus sehr genossen. Es ist ein großes, gepflegtes Grundstück. Der Pool war natürlich das absolute Highlight für uns und unsere Kinder. Die Küche ist modern ausgestattet mit sämtlichen Koch- und Backutensilien, die man sich vorstellen kann. Und die Anzahl an Schlafzimmern und Bädern war für uns mit 4 Personen sehr angenehm. Wir hatten wirklich eine schöne Zeit und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns mit reichlich Gastgeschenken beschenkt. Die Verständigung hat auch gut geklappt, obwohl wir kein französisch und sie kein deutsch sprechen. Als unsere Tochter Ohrenschmerzen bekam, haben Marie-Christine und Claude uns sehr geholfen und haben uns an einen Arzt vermittelt, der sich sofort gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank!

Perfect quiet holiday

Super villa with lovely big garden and pool. The walled garden was perfect for our dog who was very happy. Located in quiet village - great place to relax. Well equipped kitchen and clean comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We are returning again. Claude and Marie-Christine are helpful and very friendly, and gave us privacy.

Excellent objet de location

Avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison, bien entretenue et agréable à vivre. Le grand jardin et la belle piscine ont fait le bonheur de nos enfants. Belle region a visiter. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et de confiance. A bientôt...

Perfection - a real home from home!

The best holiday home that we have rented we didn't want to leave! Claude and Christine are lovely and cannot do enough to ensure you have everything you need. We had fantastic weather so a lot of time spent in the pool. Beautifully tended garden totally secure for our 2 little dogs who are looking very unhappy to have been brought away from their holiday paradise! Lucian and Marans close for shopping, La Rochelle and the beautiful Ile de 're are only 30 minutes away. Beaches about 35 minutes but not for doggies. I am sure we will be back the children are already pleading for us to go next year for longer! Thank you for such a lovely holiday.

Wunderschönes Haus mit wunderschönem Garten

Ein wirklich sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus und ein wirklicher toller und liebevoll gepflegter Garten. Man sitzt auf der Terrasse und kann so richtig die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Garten ist sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet und liebevoll gepflegt. Durch die Mauer rund herum haben sich unsere 3 Hunde sehr wohl gefühlt – morgens Tür auf und abends mal gerufen wo sie sind.... Auch die Bestuhlung für den Garten ist toll – und die Liegestühle am Pool laden zum Entspannen ein. Leider war das Wetter durchwachsen so dass wir den Pool nicht ausprobieren konnten. Stelle ich mir aber toll vor bei schönem Wetter. Das Haus selbst – vor allem das Wohnzimmer ist sehr schön und groß. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt auch nichts das kleinste Teil. Geschirr und alles passt zusammen – nicht wie so oft bei anderen Ferienhäuser zusammen gestückelt. Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit – es ist sofort eine Wohlfühl Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist fantastisch – als Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen ideal.. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen

Villa charmante entretenue et propre dans un quartier calme et résidentiel. Propriétaire accueillant et attentif à leurs hôtes. Location bien équipée et confortable. Espace terrasse-piscine prompt au repos et farniente. Petit plus draps et torchons compris, ainsi que les produits d'entretien courant. Appareils de fitness à disposition. Vraiment il manque rien. Le jardin est très fleurie et agréable ce qui ne gache rien. A recommander.

très satisfaits!

Tout comme Chantal L, nous avons trouvé l'accueil vraiment très chaleureux. La maison est propre, fonctionnelle et comporte tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Nous avons apprécié que les draps soient fournis et le ménage compris dans le prix. Le jardin joliment fleuri et bien entretenu est très agréable. Bref, nous avons été entièrement satisfaits par cette location qui correspond exactement à la description de l'annonce. Nous relouerons volontiers cette maison une année prochaine et la recommandons sans réserve. Famille Ya P.

Séjour très agréable

Accueil très chaleureux, propriétaires sympathiques et disponibles. Le descriptif de l'annonce et les photos correspondent à la réalité. Villa tout confort au calme dans un parc bien fleuri et bien entretenu. Piscine propre et agréable sous le soleil Vendéen. Commerces dans le village (café, tabac, presse, boulangerie). Centre commercial à 10 minutes. Nous ne sommes pas du tout déçu de notre séjour et nous l'aurions prolongé bien volontiers. Nous sommes tout à fait satisfait de cette location. A recommander !
