Spacious three-storey apartment with views over the estuary towards East Portlemouth, only a short walk from the heart of Salcombe, sleeping five people in three bedrooms.
Upper Marcam House is a spacious three-storey apartment with views over the estuary towards East Portlemouth, only a short walk from the heart of Salcombe. Sleeping up to five people, the property has three bedrooms, (a 4’6” double, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom), plus there is a family bathroom and an additional cloakroom. There is also a large open-plan living / dining / kitchen area, and a utility/shower room. The property has full-width sliding patio doors which lead onto a substantial balcony with barbeque and outdoor furniture. A fabulous central base for a family holiday, with or without your dog, Upper Marcam House is a wonderful seaside retreat.

There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
