Situé au centre d'une impasse paisible à la lisière du quartier du vieux village de Lynton, The Hayloft est une confortable propriété d'une chambre. Avec des fonctionnalités telles qu'un poêle à bois, des boiseries et une pièce à vivre ouverte, vous êtes assuré d’un séjour confortable et relaxant entouré du charme des cottages de campagne anglais.

Le Hayloft est situé au centre du village côtier de Lynton, au cœur du parc national, où Exmoor rencontre la mer. Il s'agit d'un appartement situé au 1er étage d'un escalier victorien situé au-dessus d'une ancienne étable victorienne. Il s'agit de la seule propriété dans une impasse tranquille.

Le Hayloft a été entièrement rénové fin 2017 pour offrir un hébergement confortable et décoré avec goût tout en conservant les caractéristiques de caractère de l'ancien cottage.

Le Hayloft est situé à quelques centaines de mètres du sentier de la côte sud-ouest et de l'emblématique Valley of the Rocks. Le port et la plage du village jumeau de Lynmouth sont situés à moins de 1,6 km et sont accessibles en voiture, à pied ou via le chemin de fer à falaise alimenté par l'eau. Lynton et Lynmouth offrent un large choix de restaurants et de cafés, ainsi que des magasins et des supermarchés à une centaine de mètres du chalet.

Quaint little stay

This was an amazing time away for me and my partner our first one together on our own since our boy is all grown up now and able to stay at home really really loved this place had everthing we needed the highlight was the wood burner would definitely come again.

Wonderful place with plenty to do

A very spacious and well equipped loft apartment with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, a cinema, and the starting point for multiple short and long hikes. So much to do - we will have to return!

Great to explore North Devon

Quirky historic converted hayloft, with much appreciated parking included. Everything was fine and at hand , our only negative is that the shower attached to the bath is not a fully functioning bathing shower.

I am sorry about your 'bathroom experiences'. The bathroom in The Hayloft does not have a shower. What it has is a mixer tap, which however much you might wish it, is NOT a shower and cannot be expected to perform like one. Most of the time it performs well as such but there are times when water usage is high in the village and temperature fluctuates. We are looking to install a proper shower but given the nature of the existing space and services, this requires stripping everything back to bare plaster and floorboards and starting again which is not a small (or cheap) job.

Good value & spacious

A quirky, good value for money property situated in centre of Lynton. Bigger than anticipated, the property is well equipped for all your needs, but overall a bit down at heel and did not seem that it had been thoroughly cleaned for a while. A very effective wood burning stove and extraordinary 20 lights and lamps! Loads of local information from helpful owner.

Lovely flat for 2

Stayed for 4 nights for a June midweek stay. Did some work from there so the desk area was very helpful. There are distinct areas for kitchen, living room, study and dining within an open plan. Plus a bathroom and bedroom. Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Not a pristine/ bland holiday let. More like staying in a friend's place. We loved it. A few mins walk in one direction are the shops and excellent restaurants (we didn't cook dinner at all).A short distance in other direction is the amazing valley of the rocks and coastal path. Have been to Lynton on short visits many times but need to stay a while to appreciate how lovely it is. Highly recommend a break here and we hope to return.

Homey spacious hayloft full of character: unusual find. Very comfortable!

Locating it was a but tricky due to a typo in the street number on the VRBO info but Jeremy was very helpful and came by to make sure we’d found it. The loft has lots of wood, beautiful light from skylights. Very comfortable bed. Old cabinets, many books with focus on local history, original paintings and prints of landscapes. The combo washer dryer is terrific. Plenty of parking with easy access. One block from a mini grocery and just a few from the historic center of town so location couldn’t be better. Advice on restaurants in house notebook very helpful. We would come again.

Wäre schön gewesen, aber Küche ungereinigt

Ferienwohnung soweit gut, geräumig und dann gute Lage. Aber anscheinend wurde vergessen die Küche zu reinigen. Beispiel: ungewaschene Geschirrtücher, verschmutzte Mikrowelle, Toaster, Pfannen. Auch der Backofen konnte aufgrund starker Verunreinigungen nicht benutzt werden. Man bucht eine Ferienwohnung um sich selber zu versorgen, das war leider nicht möglich. Siehe Beispielfotos. Schade, waren sehr enttäuscht.

This is a wonderfully quirky and cosy property. We loved it! It’s close to the centre of Lynton, shops, cafes etc, and a great base from which to explore the area. Highly recommended.

A quirky place to stay

A delightfully quirky place to stay. The property is perfectly placed for easy access to the Valley of Rocks, Watersmeet and Lynmouth. Highly recommended if you like your accommodation a bit rustic and characterful.

So cosy and lovely

We really loved the hayloft, felt right at home there from the moment we walked in. It was warm and comfortable. Bed was comfy and the bath was sooo nice and deep. Little bit of cosy luxury after a day of cold January walking (area still stunning even in January though) Property was clean and smelt fresh. Can't fault it 😃

Fantastic Location, nice host

Had a fantastic break in North Devon. Location is superb - we’re keen walkers, and we found numerous excellent walks from the property. All amenities close at hand - and an excellent fish and chip shop!
