Cantina Di Bacco: Cottage con encanto, piscina compartida y vistas al valle cerca de Florencia

A solo 40 minutos de Florencia se encuentran nuestros pequeños edificios del siglo XV, Arco y La Cantina di Bacco, ambos pertenecientes a una finca agrícola histórica, certificada oficialmente por ser muy antigua por la Cámara de Comercio de Florencia. De hecho, la "Fattoria" está en manos de la misma familia desde 1645. Los dos edificios antiguos están ubicados en una colina sobre Londa, un pequeño y pintoresco pueblo a 10 minutos en coche en la región de Chianti Rufina. Desde su posición idílica y apartada se puede disfrutar de la vista del valle del Tamiz y del bosque Mugello, que bien merece el nombre de "corazón verde de la Toscana". La Cantina, un haybarn convertido, y Arco, un molino de aceite convertido han sido restaurados con materiales típicos como pisos de terracota y vigas de castaño. Los pisos de piedra originales de Arco se han conservado cuidadosamente. La ubicación es ideal para excursiones de un día a las muchas ciudades históricas de la Toscana y a la costa o simplemente para unas vacaciones relajantes en un entorno tranquilo y virgen entre olivares. Si elige venir con amigos o familiares, nuestras casas son una solución perfecta: cercanas pero bastante independientes y privadas, con sus propios jardines privados, lugares sombreados y soleados y hermosas vistas. Las casas están amuebladas con muebles antiguos y locales que completan su encanto rústico.

En la planta baja: sala de estar con chimenea, sofá, mesa redonda y sillas, aparador, televisor.
Cocina contigua, totalmente equipada con 4 quemadores de gas, horno, nevera / congelador, tostadora, hervidor, cafetera express, lavadora.
Planta alta: dormitorio con cama matrimonial, mesa y armario. Ventana francesa mirando a un patio.

Cuarto de baño con ducha, lavabo, bidet. Todo decorado con buen gusto con toques cálidos.
Jardin muy cuidado con pérgola de uvas. Vistas espectaculares.
Hamacas y barbacoa. Internet central solo en el área de la piscina
Valdisieve y sus colinas son especialmente famosas por su vino: el Chianti Rufina, que se puede degustar en las numerosas granjas de vino a lo largo de la Strada del Vino Chianti Rufina e Pomino y al que se dedica un museo, el Il Museo del Vino, en Rufina ( en La Villa di Poggio Reale).
Toda la zona es conocida por su buena selección de restaurantes, por sus delicatessen y por su aceite extra virgen. Somos productores de petróleo y contamos con una de las mejores calidades de aceite en la región.
Por último, pero no menos importante, si viene al final del verano, podrá degustar una excelente calidad de durazno "La Pesca Regina di Londa". A esta calidad, Londa le dedica un festival en la segunda semana de septiembre.

Schöner Ort mitten in der Natur

Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen, die Natur und Aussicht sind wunderschön. Die Vermieter ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Häuschen ist schön und zum Kochen ist alles da auch wenn die Küche klein ist. Der Garten ist top! Im Haus kann es unten sehr kalt sein - auch bei warmen Temperaturen braucht man warme Kleidung. Im Dorf findet man Lebensmittel und alles was man braucht. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu unternehmen - man muss allerdings etwas Fahrzeit und viele Serpentinen einplanen.

de twee huisje zijn mooi gelegen ,maar niet helemaal juist wat de foto's betreft ,het huisje is heel sober wat niet erg is maar dan zou het beter moeten vermeld worden ,wij hebben nm in de 2huisjes verbleven daar er in het eerste een probleem was met ongedierte !!!in het tweede huisje vielen de douche deuren telkens uiteen ,keuken wat betreft bestek heel zwak weinig aanwezig ,verwarming ,word niet vermeld als je verwarming wil dat dit heel duur is en als je hout wil dat er voor één keer is de rest moet je in een plaatselijk winkeltje gaan kopen ,wij zijn nm nu geweest dus de morgende en avonden zijn koud !!tv slecht is niet de naam tv waardig ,wifi ,als je zelf geen 4g hebt heb je er niets dus als je dit nodig hebt staat er vermeld 300m van de woning wat slechte reclame is ,je moet nm bij de zus wat moeilijk is als je wat ouder bent omdat het een padje is ver naar beneden aan haar zwembad alsook wil je genieten van het zwembad moet je steeds die weg naar beneden gaan .properheid is zwak ,in vergelijking met de woningen die verhuurd worden aan het zwembad van de zuster !!!alles samengevat mooie ligging prijs te hoog voor wat je krijgt!!!ps ;wat lakens en handdoeken betreft is vermeld dat dit in de prijs zit toch op een verblijf van 10 dagen 2handdoeken ( 1grote en 1kleine per persoon is heel weinig wil je een extra is het betalen per persoon alsook lakens

Nice cottage in the Tuscan countryside

Arco was a charming little cottage, about a 10 minute drive up a mountain from Londa. The road to get to the cottage is a narrow 2-way road with lots of switchbacks, which took us a bit of time to get accustomed to driving. However, the views from the cottage were stunning. We also loved spending time at the pool, which was just a few minutes away. It was fairly easy to get to Florence from here, and the restaurants in the area serve delicious food. It was nice having a washing machine available, but laundry took longer than expected since the washer kept tripping the circuit breaker. Also remember to bring your own detergent, as it is not supplied. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Maria Luisa, Paola and their family have been very nice to us and they were also easy to reach whenever we had any questions. Thanks for having us!

La maison, le jardin, la vue, la tranquillité tout y était.

Nous sommes tombés amoureux de cette partie tant sauvage et belle de la Toscane que nous ne connaissions pas encore. Les vallées, les petits villages perchés, tant de châteaux et le chianti partout. Le village de Londa est très agréable également, tout y est présent, épicerie, boucherie, légumes des petits producteurs régionaux , le miel de chataignier et d'acaccia. La maison est petite mais il y a tout, le parc avec la piscine est très beau et la vue... Nous avons été bercés par le chant des cerf et des chouettes, unique !!! Perdez-vous dans les petits villages, pour certains presque inhabités, mais sublimes ça vaut le détour. Beau retour sur soi grâce à la tranquillité infinie de la position retirée de la maison. Loin du tumulte de Florence mais près de tout pour visiter... Poppi, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Rapolano Terme etc, autant de belles visites avec de nombreux monuments à photographier sans la cohue estivale. Fin Septembre mais grand beau et plus de 30 ° toute la semaine quelle chance !!!

Idyllisches Steinhaus mit tollem Pool

Erfrischung gefällig? Im Türkis des Pools, inmitten bewaldeter Berghänge. Jeder Stein des Hauses ist individuell, jeder Holzbalken verschieden vom anderen, die alte Mühle ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und atmet ländliches Flair. Ganz so, wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Im Liegestuhl das Kräuteraroma genießen, Eidechsen klettern galant an der Hauswand, Bienen summen geschäftig. Nach dem abendlichen Barbecue: Sterne gucken, rhytmisch begleitet von schnarrenden Grillen u. zirpenden Zikaden. Vielseitige Ausflüge sind möglich, z.B. Poppi, Arezzo, Wandern im Nationalpark Foreste Casentinese. Das nahegelegen Firenze ist bequem mit dem Zug erreichbar. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber und alles war vorhanden, was man braucht. Mückenspray dabei haben hilft. Viele Grüße S + M

Wunderschönes und ruhiges Häuschen

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Casa Arco und haben die Woche genossen. Die Vermieter Maria Luisa und ihre Schwester Paolo und ihr Mann waren sehr zuvorkommend und wir bekamen sogar eine kostenfreie Führung durch die Ölmühle der Familie! Das Haus war toll gelegen mit super schönes Ausblick ins Tal, früh morgens kamen sogar Esel am Haus vorbei. Jedoch könnte das Haus noch minimal verbessert werden durch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, z.B. Seife und Spülschwamm. Das Bett war leider auch sehr hart und unbequem. Allen in allem fanden wir es aber sehr schön und würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

A stunning location for the perfect relaxing holiday

We chose Cantina Di Bacco because we wanted somewhere peaceful, a little off the tourist track, with great views - and this little gem exceeded our expectations. The property isn’t about mod cons, it’s about simple, rustic beauty; a clean, comfortable well-designed living space in an idyllic location. The outside space is lovely for your meals, the pool area (which is 5 min walk away) is exceptional, and never felt busy despite being shared, and Londa is a charming little town. We also recommend Il Geko restaurant in Dicomano for really great pizza. We feel completely relaxed following our 2 weeks here and will definitely be back. Grazie Mille to Paola, Maria Luisa, Tommaso and everyone who showed us such wonderful hospitality.

Wunderschönes altes Steinhaus in den Bergen

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannende Woche in der Natur. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Die Cantina de Bacco ist sehr gemütlich. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe wunderschön für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das alte Cottage ist gut ausgestattet und sehr Landes typisch eingerichtet.

Romantic stay at Cantina do Bacco

We had a really nice time in Cantina do Bacco. The house is very romantic and when you arrive the owner and her husband give you a warm welcome. The house is simple but has al the basics. The garden is really big and there are fine beds and seats in this also romantic garden with a beautiful view on the mountains. There are other houses around you, but you have got the feeling that you are all alone. The owners sister is your direct neighbor and she helped us fine with some questions. The pool is beautiful and we had the pool most for our selves alone. The area is beautiful and a lot of Tuscany highlights are near. Tip: in Londa above the cinema is a local restaurant. It’s a restaurant for locals and it is really good! You taste the real Italian food here.

Mountain Vacation

We loved the cottage! It was hidden away in the mountains away from the busses and busses but an easy drive into Firenze or Sienna. The fresh air, scent of cowers and scenic views were breath taking! The drive up the mountain the first day in the large vehicle we rented was a little hairy but once I got the hang of it I didn’t mind at all and rather had a chance to enjoy the view

Our memorable stay at Cantina Di Bacco

We had the most amazing stay in this little beautifull cottage, set high up in the Tuscan hills, above the little town of Londa, where there were bars, restaurants and shops. The attention to detail inside, and outside, the property was second to none. It was very clean and well maintained. Fresh wild flowers in all the rooms, gave off a divine scent throughout. The bedroom upstairs had a lovely door out to a little courtyard and was a delight. A well equipped kitchen with washing machine. We especially liked eating outside under the pergola in the pretty garden. We loved everything about the place, the scenery was to die for, like a little piece of heaven on earth. Our hosts were extremely kind and helpful, before and during our stay. We arrived to a bottle of local wine, bread, jam and milk for our breakfast. Our hosts even helped us to arrange travel arrangements to visit Rome, which we did by train from Florence, we would recommend taking the trains into Florence for the day as well, leaving the car at Contea Londa and taking the train. We also visited Siena, about an hour and half journey away, but well worth the trip. We spent our 40th wedding anniversary there - truely breath taking. The Cantina Di Bacco is well situated for sightseeing day trips. We also loved the swimming pool which is a short walk away, with sun loungers, we found it so peaceful after our busy days out. The setting around the swimming pool was clean and very well maintained, and of course the views were stunning. Up in the Tuscan hills it is really peaceful, tranquil and awe inspiring. We would love one day to return to this magical place and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a sightseeing or relaxing holiday, you can experience them both here. Once again we would like to thank our hosts for their help and kindness during our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful holidays.

My wife Kathryn and I had the most wonderful and relaxing holidays at Cantina di Bacco last August. The place is a heaven of peace, it is confortable, well furnished and the views are absolutely stunning. We arrived late in the evening from Pisa and were taken to the house by Maria-Luisa's sister who leaves in the valley in Londa. The house was spotless and there was a nice bottle of wine and some grapes on the table. The next day, we woke up to sunshine and glorious views. Despite being in a rural setting and surrounded by trees, the cottage is extremely quiet and we could easily have slept till late every day (one could have expected birds to be noisy...). Walking to the pool takes a couple of minutes through some beautiful olive groves and you can eat plenty of blackberries while on the way. While at the pool, you may meet Maria-Luisa or somebody from the family. Maria speaks very good English and couldn't be more helpful. She knows the area inside out and her advice is invaluable. Florence is very conveniently close by. It only takes about 20 mns in the train (leave car in Contea and take the train). The service is very efficient and cheap. You'll understand why we get ripped off on train fares in the UK...!!! Must see are Sienna and San Giminiano and a trip to Poppi is well worth it. We went there on Maria-Luisa's advice and had a great day. There is plenty of brilliant walking to be done around the cottage or slightly North towards San Godenzo and surrounding area. One thing both my wife and I enjoyed was the fact that very few people spoke good English (unless going to Florence or Sienna) so we had to make an effort to speak a bit of Italian. Absolutely everyone in Londa and surrounding villages was wonderful. They couldn't have done enough to help us and were all very welcoming. Our difficulty to speak Italian led us to some funny and confusing situations on a couple of excursions but all the more enjoyable and better to get to know the local people. We are not the type to go back to the same place on holiday and actually rarely go back twice unless it is to visit family but...I think Cantina di Bacco and that small corner of Italy will become an exception...

La Dolce Vita

We have enjoyed 2 lovely weeks at the beautiful Casa Arco. The accomodation was just perfect and so too was our lovely host Maria Luisa who we met on a visit to the pool. Before our visit she made sure we had a detailed email with directions to the property which were very easy to follow. The houses are set in wonderful surroundings in the Tuscan hills. When we arrived our little Arco have lovely pots full of wild flowers and everywhere was super clean and fully equiped for our stay. The village of Londa is lovely and has all the shops you need for your stay. Inside the Arco there was excellent information about places to see and good places to eat. Maria Luisa had also written about the history of the property as it was an old olive mill and has the mill stone visible both inside and outside the property. The area has so much to offer, there is pleanty of beautiful places to visit and the most wonderful food to eat, but it was always lovely to return to the Casa Arco as it felt so homely. This was our first visit to the region and we were very sad to leave but we have already booked to return next year and I hope many years to come.

Wonderfully peaceful stay

We stayed here for a week and didn't realise in what a lovely location the cottage was among the mountains. It was so peaceful. We loved the swimming pool especially after hot days out. We ate every evening at the property because of the views. The countryside around there is stunning. The people of Londa very friendly. The local ricotta cheese is delicious. We are definitely returning to this holiday property. The owners were very welcoming and helpful too. It is ideally suited for sight seeing days out as well.

I've been spending a great part of my life in this area of Tuscany, which I know very well.The houses which we offer for rent are part of a country estate which belonged to our mother's family. Since we inherited the property we've been spending time and money to restore them and decided to rent them out in order to maintain them in good shape and pass them to our children and grandchildren in the future.
I'm in charge of the bookings for my sister Paola , who will Always welcome you warmly ., but you can Always referto me, because I live quite near and know everything about the cottages.I love this job. It gives me the opportunity of meeting knew people who sometimes become good friends and like visiting us year after year.

The farming area around the cottages , mainly olive groves, gives the landscape a typical Tuscan appeal. We have always farmed organically without using any kind of chemicals and therefore the air is pure healthy and filled with the natural fragrances of the original plants grown in our gardens, Scents of lavender rosemary and wild roses will welcome you on arrival. The views are fantastic , being the cottages set on top of a hill 450 mts on sea level.
