Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was gorgeous, so much space and light and had all the features you need to have a happy and enjoyable stay. Gorgeous views from every window and especially loved seeing the cattle and sheep in the nearby fields every morning at breakfast. There was loads of space outside to enjoy the gardens and sunhouse and the showers and whirlpool bath were a welcome site after a hard day on the fells. Highly recommended and much appreciated. I must say, this was one of the BEST places we have ever stayed in. The lodge was spotless, the prosecco was a lovely touch, the view from the patio doors and decking was spectacular...as was the F15 fly-pasts!!

We wanted a cosy, comfortable, well presented and quiet escape over new year, everything detailed in the advert for this property is correct. Caters well if you’re travelling with dogs. Lovely remote location next to the lake with great views and no one overlooking you. We have rebooked for another visit later this year. Just Perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful house in an excellent location

A delightful holiday home in a great location to explore the Lakes. A half hour stroll or five minute drive into Keswick from the house provides access to Derwent Water, lakeside restaurants and shops. The house also has a pub and excellent cafe on its doorstep in Portinscale itself. The house is immaculate and the owners have thoughtfully decorated and fitted-out to make guests as comfortable as possible. There’s a lovely garden with amazing views. Highly recommended for a great holiday venue.
