Croatian Paradise

Excellent 2 weeks spent in a superb property in a beautiful location in the mountains. It is within easy reach of Split and the Dalmatian beaches but far enough away to provide a tranquil respite. Mario and his family could not have done more to make us feel welcome from start to finish. We arrived to a home made meal, wine and well stocked fridge. He and his family even cooked for us on our last night. He was also very helpful in providing any local advice while being careful not to encroach on our privacy. This was their first year renting their home - book early for next year because it’s fabulous. Thank you.

Perfect Green Paradise

We enjoyed our stay in Trilj. When we arrived Mario welcomed us with local wine and 3 kinds of liquor, local cheese and prosciutto accompanied by local bread. The house was like new, very very clean, fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms were shinny with loads of towels. The garage has games to play, but enjoyed our time at the pool that has an outside shower with warm water. We were invited to use eggs from their chickens, and Mario's parents showed us the vegetable garden to get anything we need from there. The grounds were beautifully designed and kept with roses, lavender and fruit trees. Only 5 min away there is a butcher shop and market. They were so nice to give us the meat cuts that we needed for the grill, and it was delicious. Make sure you try the local baked goods including the bread. The drive to Split is 40 min but we couldn't wait to get back home after a day in the city or at the beach. It was hard to leave. This was an excellent rental.

Rundum gelungener Urlaub

Das Haus ist traumhaft und perfekt zum relaxen geeignet. Die Obstwiese, die eigenen Eier und der Gemüsegarten waren etwas ganz Besonderes für eine Ferienwohnung. Mario ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, bei Fragen stand er uns sofort zur Seite.

Nice Authentic Suburban Croatian Experience

Mario was a great host going above and beyond! His family and him provided a great house with nice accommodations. When I mean going above and beyond, he provided in the check in process some smoked meats, cheese, homemade wine & spirts, and bread! The last night he even grilled a traditional meat and potato meal for us to enjoy! Great experience!
